The Lounge thread: Whatever you feel like......... Anything goes! Part XVIII

Off to get a drug test, if the place isn't too busy, and then go get fingerprinted. No, RR, I'm not going to jail. :giggle:

Awaiting the arrival of Barnella's kittens. I am hoping at least one of them is an orangie.

p.s. Barnella is not pregnant. Here's the story: Barnella is an orange feral cat living in my parents-in-law's barn. She was thought to be a boy, henced named Barney (for living in the barn), but it was discovered recently Barney is indeed a girl. So we came up with Barnella instead :) Now I SOOOOO want an orange kitten, so we have a running joke that we hope Barnella gets pregnant and has orange babies. However, the reality is that I hope she doesn't get pregnant. There are already too many unwanted kittens. Whenever the P-I-L come across a feral cat living in the barn, they try to trap it to get it to a vet to spay/neuter and bring back to the barn. They've had good luck with that, actually. In this case, they think Barnella may already be spayed. She may have had a home at one point but nobody knows where; she took up residence in the barn about a year ago and has stayed ever since. She is far less feral than your typical feral barn cat.

I *still* want an orange kitten. :)

I often go into Mark's area when I deliver bikes. I find myself thinking of him every time I'm in the area.

when will you bring Barnella home?

when will you bring Barnella home?

She's staying at the P-I-L's barn for now. She has Tiamo (horse) and another feral cat to keep her company. It's not that PIL don't want her indoors, it's just that she's feral enough to not want to come into the house. Too scared. I hate that she stays outside for the winter but that seems to be her choice. They've tried to coax her into the house and she's not having any of it.

Saw a hilarious joke on FB..."Why is it called Beauty Sleep...when you wake up looking like a Troll?"....
