Again,,,,If i was the President i warn North Korea if anything happens i will push for just sanctions like how Russia is suffering right now. Plus i will order an Naval blockage around North Korea. No food,No medicine,No Oil ,Nothing gets into North Korea. If Kim Jong-Un takes any action on our vessels its an act of war.

A Naval blockage around North Korea would be an act of war on our part.

and plus - the such embargo has remained ineffective for decades.

despite of strict embargo... NK has obtained nuclear weapon capability and now has a capability to conduct a cyberterrorism. Sony is the latest example.

Just FYI:

When naval vessels prevent merchant vessels from entering a port it's called a blockade.

When something is stuck in your body (ears, intestines, colon, nasal passage) or sewage system (sewer, toilet, garbage disposal) it's a blockage.

Funny, it works well for Russia.

I don't see why this is a big threat. We have people here in the U.S. who do the same thing without need for a cyber warrior army.

Also, North Korea is not an island. A naval blockade wouldn't stop all goods.

And, the reason the sanctions work with Russia is only partially about the sanctions themselves. The real reason is we are flooding the market with more refined oil causing oil prices to dive.

No, I don't think we are flooding the market with oil; I think it is the OPEC not producing any or vastly reduced producing same in order to hurt us who are trying to be independent of them......boy, that was a mouthful....

Then why cant U.S Government hire Hackers as a job. They're are criminal hackers all over in America. Why not make a deal with them we will offer you a salary of $50,000 a year to hack other governments computer systems. Exchange for stop criminal hacking in the U.S! So there! Its called even the score.

That was the case 3 years ago, but not the case today. Gas prices in the U.S. are falling because the U.S. is becoming a much larger oil producers. Thanks to our President, we have cheap gas. See below. And, OPEC can't cut production when oil is cheap because it affects their countries, they need to sell the oil and we are supplying to more of that demand now.

This is the reason I bought a truck three years ago. I knew oil prices would go down because of increased U.S. production.

Here, article about production:
http://www.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424052702303492504579111360245276476

Here is an article about supply:

"The short version of the story goes like this: For much of the past decade, oil prices were high — bouncing around $100 per barrel since 2010 — because of soaring oil consumption in countries like China and conflicts in key oil nations like Libya. Oil production couldn't keep up with demand, so prices spiked.

But beneath the surface, many of those dynamics were rapidly shifting. High prices spurred companies in the US and Canada to start drilling for new, hard-to-extract crude in North Dakota's shale formations and Alberta's oil sands."

Here's the link:

The fact is, thanks to our President, we will be the largest producer of oil in the world by the 2020s.

OPEC will not be able to harm the U.S. in any way.

lol wow. you're really behind in news...

do you know what NSA is and what it does? several government agencies have already recruited hackers in exchange of prison sentence. and FBI and CIA have regularly scoped out at DEFCON (the biggest hacker conference/convention once a year) to recruit some hackers.

check out and educate yourself on what America has - http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/special/national/black-budget/

just FYI - the government is not responsible for Sony's security. what happened here is Sony's weak cybersecurity system. and then the government got involved to help assist Sony and that's how we find out that North Korea was behind it.

just because our "success" isn't reported in news doesn't mean we have nothing. that is precisely the whole point of being very secretive about our capability and strength.

Yes, Playstation Network (PSN) was hacked in 2011 that lead to shutdown for 1 month.

tsk tsk. Sony needs to ramp up its security system. Google and Lockheed Martin have their own secretive departments with unlimited resource & money and have highly-classified accesses with the government. couple years ago, Facebook was approached by FBI or CIA to develop secret analysis software within Facebook to look for potential recruits as well as to spy on potential terrorists.

Apple is one of few companies who refuse to cooperate with government and they have developed software that the government can't even hack into customers' phones. Microsoft unfortunately allowed government to have a backdoor key into anybody's computer.

time to call in Team America!!!!!

The problem is, even with the best anti-hacking technology, the weakest link is the human computer user. In the Sony case, the hackers got hold of an employee ID and password, probably by using a phishing scam. As long as employee users keep clicking on emails and links at work with disregard, these things are going to happen.

I asked my son a long time ago if hackers could f*ck things up like that. He said yes and it will never stop. When I read news about Sony hack (cyber-attack), I remember what my son said so that's nothing new.
