What are you doing right now?

Some stress is fine- there's even good stress- Mew worrying I think is good stress. Everybody has stress in their lives whether or not they realize it. Good and bad stress.

Seems to me you do fret about some stuff here on AD and having read other posts of yours you do fret about a lot of stuff. JMO

I don't even worry about stress. I just stay focused on things I need to be doing, and not let it bother me. I'm not one to fret about too many things, unless, of course, it involved my family or people I cared about, some of which I do have.

I will guarantee if someone was offering you a job with a pay difference of nearly 100k a year... working under / studying under one of the top MD's in the state of Florida / the East coast... you would be stressed... Don't give me that I wouldn't be stressed crap! Oh, only if my largest worry was taking pictures and worrying about getting my post numbers up on AD how stress free my life would be too!!!

But no, I have a life full of studying, working 80 hours a week, medical school, BILLS and maintaining a personal life throughout it all somehow... Don't give me that no stress crap..... I wouldn't be stressed if I had it as easy as you did, either!

Odd you should say that. Other people have said the same things, but I have learned how to control how stressed I am, which makes things go a lot easier for me.

Because YOU HAVE NOTHING TO STRESS ABOUT!!! Virtually EVERYTHING is taken care of FOR you! If only all of us had it that easy! Having anger issues like you "had" / have and having stress are two VERY different demons...

Me, worried about my post numbers? Naw. Why do you think I'm using the mobile AllDeaf site? So it's not easily visible, and I can focus better if I'm using this. And for the record, if you get that job, I'm fairly certain your life will become easier-- in a way. Not saying completely, but that difference will help you pay some of your bills.

You really are.... dense....

I have absolutely NO issues paying any of my bills on what I currently make.... Do you even know what the average salary of a triage P.A. is? If I have issues maintaining myself off of my salary, I clearly need to learn some basic responsibility and have my parents handle my money, because I wouldn't deserve it.

Life wouldn't become easier, and taking this job is NOT about making my life become easier, it's about challenging myself! I'd be working MORE! I'd have MORE work, and LONGER hours if anything else, not less!

Jesus.... Just when I thought you couldn't possibly say anything more retarded... You always manage to surprise me, that's for sure!

Okay. That's where you are wrong. I have already sent a couple of people private messages who asked me about how or what I do, and they understand better now. I do not have people taking care of things FOR me-- I do it all on my own. You are misunderstanding where I stand and what I do.

Oh I think I understand just fine. Do you work a full time job to pay 100% of your bills at home? Or are you living in a home that is a home paid for through assistance as you have said? ( Tax dollars ) You're the one that put it out there, not me. Do you go to school full time? No? Do you have to wake up every day to pull an 8-16 hour shift to put food on the table for your family like the members here, or did you do that to earn your retirement? Or, do you ride around taking pictures and stopping at sandwich shops to eat and go home? :hmm: Is your biggest concern a new mattress and the person overseeing the house getting you a new one that you don't have to buy with your own money? Really? Because any time I want a new mattress, I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT WITH MONEY I EARN! Don't give me that bull I'm sorry, I will never believe you have even a FRACTION of the responsibility of any of the members on here. I wish you could walk an hour in my shoes... you think hitting your head on your end table or a chair or cutting your wittle knee on a baby piece of glass is going to kill you... awww... how cute... why don't you come down here with me for a day and see how the real world works! I'll get you a hello kitty bandaid for your knee and a lollipop for being a good little boy! :D

Actually there's more to it than that. There are things I can and cannot do without prior permission. And no, I don't-- yet. However, I am working on trying to find a job somehow.

So until you are employed you have someone doing things FOR you.... You are not SELF SUSTAINED! DO NOT come in here and lecture someone about not being stressed about life when YOU HAVE NOTHING TO BE STRESSED ABOUT! When you get a job, a place of your own and have to support yourself and have more to do than to "get back to people as quickly as you can" on this site and vamp up your post numbers to 5400 in THREE MONTHS THEN you can come in here and tell people "You just don't get stressed." Until then, your words aren't worth beans. You don't get stressed over daily life because you don't have daily life. Your bills are paid for the most part with tax dollars, CONGRATULATIONS! Can't find work? Thought about going to school?! You come on this site day after day and post pessimistic terrible news! If you're not posting that you post things that you completely BLOW OUT OF THE WATER "OMG GUYS I THINK I'M DYING I CUT MY KNEE, HERE'S A PICTURE" and it looks like a pimple pop IF THAT! You contradict yourself CONSTANTLY, you make the BIGGEST deals out of NOTHING, you have LIED TERRIBLY in the past and been CALLED On it not only by me as a P.A. but by a FIREFIGHTER AND A PHARMACIST! AND YOU STILL CONTINUE TO GO ON!!! After all of this, you have the audacity... no,... you have the BALLS to come in and say you don't get stressed!?!??! WELL I WOULDN'T GET STRESSED LIVING IN ASSISTED LIVING EITHER! I swear to GOD If I could legally or by AD rules go into depth about what I'd like to do to omg I'm just going to stop myself right now you're not worth the stress I'm putting on my keyboard you make me sick!!! There are people in here who have served in our military, who have worked and retired, who are currently working, who are disabled, who are Deaf and going to school even who STILL SUPPORT THEMSELVES AND ARE INDEPENDENT! They don't depend on anyone but themselves and some even have children!!! They still make it work!!! Hell I give them more credit then myself I don't even have kids!!!! Seriously dude you... Oh dear lord you're not worth the energy you're absolutely... you make me sick.... absolutely dis.... omg... I NEED A DRINK!

I have dozens of friends in medical field. one thing I learned is not to tell them to chill out. learned it a hard hard hard way....

the reason why you don't even worry about stress is because you don't know what stress is like.

Actually I do. Had high levels of stress a few years back, but things are better now-- more under control, and a little more freedom.

Chicagoblue2 You should try community college. I'm sure it is free for you.

If I had an active DORS case, maybe. However, school isn't my primary objective right now-- I'm trying to find something I'll be happy with.

the stress you had compared to stress they have... well let's just say their stress makes your stress looks like a little headache. now imagine they have to deal with that kind of stress for over 12 years. every single day.
