It's similar to the fruit juices, sugar-wise. The more pale it is, the less sugar there it contains. A lot of people don't realize how the concentration of congeners can affect a hangover. The paler the booze, the less the hangover. However, you still can get a hangover if you overindulge enough.

Triple distilled Vodka is my choice of drink. I mix it with pink lemonaide and a splash of 100% pomegranate juice.
I drink plenty of water in between and over the night. I wake up hangover free. :D
 
I've an easy cure for this.

Don't drink!

You can still have a fun time without depending on alcohol.

I agree.. I did not drink last year on New Year's Eve. I stayed home and went to bed. Not sure what I will do yet, on the last evening of the year.
 
well i not expert how avoidng hangover i sorry :dunno: one time my friend did tell me eating many food after drink. i drink heavy alcohol when i eating, then i eating more. my friend very wrong, it did not preventage hangover!!!! i vomiting many time next day and very sick.

That's good to hear. It's sad to see people drink so much alcohol and depend on it in order to have fun.
 
Instead of drinking-alcohol go dancing instead. Water always cool-to say the least!
No hangovers whatsoever!
 
Let's hope that no one (ADers) will drink alcohol in excess tonight and decide to drive.
 
we plan drunk heavy tonight, but everyone sleepover and i hide all car key in box LOCK then hide box. my rule NO DRUNK DRIVE.
 
No drinking for me tonight. Will ring in the New Year with my kids, and family with a fire outside. We will start off with playing dominos. :)

Yeah, gonna use Skype tonight to connect with my families so we can see each other live for the last two or three hours before the New Year rings in while we eat, chat, and watch tv (is Dick Clark still alive?). This'll be the first for us. Better than to get mindlessly intoxicated.

Yep, plan on drinking lots of water in between especially since we will be using the hot tub.

Well.... I came in third place in Dominos. Everyone taking a break watching TV and chilling out. Looks like I will wake up with out a hangover. :) No booze for me or my family. :D I did the same last year. It is nice to be able to start the New Year with out a nasty hangover. Cooked up a pot of Black eye peas and hog jowls. Also made some Elephant ears.
