Last Movie You Watched?

Actually, it was shot in colour. They did it in order to get a specific look to the movie.

It's referred to in the Washington Post and other places as "the black-and-white silent film 'The Artist'."

If it was filmed in colour and then transposed to black-and-white, I don't know, but what you're going to see on the screen is a black-and-white film in the style of 1920's movies.

That's correct, it was shot in colour and then converted to black and white. Like I said, they did it to get a specific look to the movie. It's somewhat difficult to shoot a movie in black and white these days, the studio executives would refuse to allow it. They had to fight to shoot the movie as a silent movie, let alone showing it in black and white.

It's somewhat bizarre that the idea of a movie being presented in black and white would present such a controversy in Hollywood.

i just watching "river's edge" it old movie from 1986 wow it weird!!!!! about high school boy who kill his girlfriend. he leave her dead body near river. then he showing off his friend show her body "hey hey i did kill her! let me showing you her body" they act no emotion wtf?? but it still good movie.

Some movies I watched last week;

Rise of the Planet of the Apes - fair
The Debt - excellent
Contagion - very good
Abduction - okay
Colombiana - good

Contagion pretty good, it gives some thoughts, not deep but surely revealing on many aspects, and i liked the 'flat drama, almost documentary style' to it, its good.......an A- grade...worth watching if you're keen to know about the todays world and be entertained at same time...

I watched Apollo 18 last night. Not as good of a movie as I expected it to be. It was just another amateur footage movie. Paranormal Activity was better.

South Central
He Got Game
Paris, Texas
The Thief of Bagdad (40's version)
Freeze - Korean drama mini-series (err 5 hours long or so)

Closer to the Edge TT, a documentary film abou the Isle of Mann TT racing, excellent if you're into bikes. In my past life, i was right into motorcycling off and on road.

I have found i can watch intensee movies now that i cant hear, never would come close before. Probably that scary music. I dont know but im having fun.sometimes the CC is pretty awful though. Can give you a headache if its to fast.
