Hahahaha! That is too funny! Too busy protesting to spell the signs right!

My boss today come near my desk, go "Sunny! How long this computer tower make this noise?"

...really?

Anyway she pretty mad since I guess fan my tower dying, making horrible noise. She mad I not notice, maybe ruin computer. How I should notice? Is not vibrate funny. :dunno:

Looks like your boss forgot your deaf in that moment.

I had some hearing people asking me if I can hear this or that or this, etc, usually loud noise like fireworks, plane, police siren, drill in ground, etc. I always say no I can't hear it, they look as don't believe me fully.

I did before with grocery cart. It made loud squeak when I pushed it, but I do not hear high pitch sounds. Everyone in the store staring at me as I shop. I think I have dirty face or something. Cashier finally asks me why it does not bother me to use that cart. I tell her, no worries. I cannot hear this sound.

^^^Yes, I got another E.S. request as well. Sunny, there's someone faking E.S. FB account, including the same picture. (And for those of you who do not know who E.S. is, sorry - I won't say here).

You can spot the fake by going to their wall. If it's blank - they're the fake. Get rid of them pronto.

Well, I can say this...get ready, younguns'!...When you get older, it's not gonna be much different....people "assume" that since ur deaf and old...you can't do this or that, and can't go anywhere without some "hearing" help.....No matter if you're still mobile and can drive and ur mind is still intact.....
I even had to get very rude, when someone (hearing) took my arm to lead me to the doctor's office, as if I did not know the way or whatever their thought was....Perhaps their meaning of doing this (or their thought) was just being helpful...I'm not an invalid yet....so I just removed their arm and said..."I got it!"....

Even ran into someone who said.."ur Deaf?"...My cousin is deaf too! (and he was talking to me like a normal hearie does)...."my cousin even drives!"...as if that was really so remarkable!....

Nothing has changed very much since I became deaf...I do note the education among deafies thru the years has been awesome!...But it's the hearing perspective of deafies that hasn't been changed very much....
I get the feeling I'm going to be a cranky old lady.

Now I wonder why my blood pressure is going thru the roof. :P

I think George Bernad Shaw had quite a few complaints about the phonics of the English language.
