What did you do today? Part II

Self defense.

Kidding. Was working on the truck, taking turns between heating metal up and hammering it so we could bend it back into shape. I was carrying the sledgehammer.. Guy was just watching where I was pounding, not thinking of where he was pointing the torch. Thankfully he was about 3-4 feet away.

Wow. My husband used to be a welder. It can be kind of dangerous.

Woke up, packed the truck, waited for everyone to go to breakfast. Got to the Hard Tail bar and cafe, waited for two hours for everyone to come. Got back in the truck and droooooove home. Ahhhhh :) my pillow! So sorry I forgot you! Puppy kisses!!! Grandson kisses, well wishers and unloaded all the stuff that we were given to take home. Whose is it??? Who knows???

Over the weekend the family and I busted our rumps and help decorate Tombstone. It is an awesome spook trail that we have each year. Kids and SO will be the scarers!! I will stay my butt safely in the ticket booth. :)

I have made hubby's lunches for the week. (salads and I had to get all the slicing and chopping done) Cleaned and switched out litter boxes. Baked 2 cakes. Hand washed 2 sweater/tops made with bamboo and silk yarn, a skirt, blouse and 4 pairs of pantyhose (yes, I still wear them). Also mended, 2 pairs of shorts, 3 pairs of pants, 2 dresses, 3 sets of PJ's and 5 skirts.

I was helping a neighbor last week with a lot and so my stuff went on the back burner, so to speak. Finally almost have it caught up.

Tomorrow is the bathroom, kitchen, vacuuming, mopping and last of the mending and sewing.

correction - looks like there is indeed gals to chase in Richmond....

just got back from diner and I had a fantastic bacon cheeseburger & fries. My waitress is pretty attractive and we had a chit-chat because she noticed my HA. Turned out that she has a deaf sister who is currently attending at VCU where my conference will be held at. And guess what? they communicated with each other via..... CS. veddy veddy interesting! :hmm:

I told her to show me CS since I've never seen it in person. She's fluent in it. As I was about to leave, she asked for my card... gave it to her w/ my # on it... and told her that I'm here for a few days and that we should have a get-together cuz I'm very intrigued about her sister's situation.

Richmond Va? You're visiting the Fan section of Richmond?

We had the bonfire going again for a while. Got LOTS to burn. Thank god for no burning ban (it was lifted Oct. 14).

Was at doctor earlier today for my constant allergies/sinus. Got referred to an ENT. Don't know what I want to do with that. But got a different allergy prescrip in the meantime.

Is breathing bonfire smoke good for your allergies/sinus?
