What did you do today?

Let me know how the rice milk turns out for you :)

Will do - all my forums are a little slow moving to today, so I will get started now. My recipe is from the KitchenAid mixer book that came with my 5 qt stand mixer. That was an expensive purchase years ago that has paid for itself over and over. I have the juicer/strainer attachment, the grinder attachment and all kinds of whips and paddles and hooks for it. $300 about 15 years ago and still working hard.

Right now the bread is on the final rising in the bread pans. The dough was wetter than usual and I think it might be because the milk is not as heavy and regular milk. It is very think like skim milk. We have an hour, then I can bake it. I will post how it tastes later this evening.

Oh yeah, I should have mentioned that it's a bit thinner than whole milk. I always drank nonfat milk my entire life (before I stopped drinking milk entirely), so I didn't really notice a difference when I switched to rice milk. Be sure to shake it up really good each time you use it.

How's the bread? :)

I lit a fire in my wood stove and been roasting by that since I got home. Watching AFV now.

I went to the gym to work out for 90 mins, came home to make lunch for my son and I before going to Frederick to visit a friend of mine. Had a nice visit, came home to cook dinner and get everything ready for tmw. Now, I am relaxing.

My abs are screaming in pain after doing a zillion sit-ups and crunches. Hurry stomach to become flat!!!

I was tossing the bag in the dumpster and my ring flung off and landed on a bag inside it. I went inside the house to get a chair so I could step on it and reach in to get the ring. I got on the chair and then ALMOST got my ring when I fell in the dumpster- head first. It was so scary! I kept imagining my ankles getting chewed off by rats or something. I couldn't climb out, and the bags/boxes/stuff were unstable under my feet. Finally some guy saw me and he went to get a ladder. He took off before I had the chance to tell him I had a chair. In the meantime I had my Sidekick with me and I played on it to keep myself from freaking out. He came back with another guy and both helped me get out.

Always keep your Sidekick with you so you can contact anyone to get you out of the messes you find yourself in!

Thank goodness someone came to help you!

Bought a newspaper. Changed my Ear Gear to pink and purple floral. Read a little. Showered. Cooked dinner.

In other words, very little.

How's the bread? :)

The bread is literally "to die for". It is so light and fluffy and soft. I can't believe it! It was very easy to do and we actually ate one whole loaf both before and with dinner. Anyone who wants the recipe, let me know and I'll be glad to post it.

so do I, to be honest
in fact skinny people live longer than fat people hahaha so greedy fat slobs die!! shame society is 'bent' on fatness and strength in a real confused way...even gym people 'seems' healthy i also suspect they are unhealthy , its just so their body been trained to fight metabolism, repairs for growth, and horomonial imbalances (which is exploited for musclar gains)...seem/looks healthy, but i just cant help but dont buy it....

I showed a pic of myself to a friend of mine from about 2-3 years ago and she said I looked emaciated, I don't think so. I'm 5'4" on a good day and I weighed around 110 pounds in this pic. That's not emaciated. Now if I were below 90 pounds then yeah I'd have a problem. Right now I weigh 135 I believe. Why? Too much holiday junk and people insisting I eat because I don't look 'healthy'. Or insisting that I eat because my blood sugar is dropping as they are noticing signs of it. (I usually turn all pale and I start slurring my words and stumble around). I've not had an episode in 6 months and for me that's doing good. However I'm going on a restrictions diet to see if I can push some of this excess weight off. I'd like to drop back to 110-115 if possible. Hard thing is I usually plateau out around 120, then that's when I usually kick it into high gear and push harder.

As for what I did today I got up and took the egg grabber to the farm as I broke the other one after a rooster attacked me (yes you read that correctly) and I had to replace it for the person that gathers eggs on Sundays.

Then I came back, got myself and my DD showered and clothed and we went off to worship services at church then we came home. I goofed off on FB for a bit then I went to visit my grandmother and ate Sunday dinner with her. Later I went to a baby shower and I came home got started on my laundry (I will be doing it well into the wee hours of the morning). Now I am here posting on AD.com and playing Farmville simultaneously while waiting on a load of laundry to finish.

My brother's girlfriend is 5'5 and weighs 102 lbs but she doesnt look emaciated. I guess it depends on one's body frame. She has a small frame.

Wirelessly posted

I went to visit my uncle, grocery shopping and watching probowl get my Patriot dose while it lasts.

Waaaaaay baaaaack when, I weighed 98 lbs when graduated from high school, weighed 105 when I married about 11 years later. Even after both kids, I still weighed around 110, I think. Then middle age hit.... I'm 5'5". I inherited my mom's thinness (high metabolism). My youngest inherited it from me. She's 5'7" and about 108 and 17 yrs old. We could (and did) eat anything and not put on weight. Now I have to watch my weight. :(

I am 5'7 and weigh 190..I am trying to get down to 150. Last year, I weighed 230. I wish I had your problem. I gain weigh easily if I am not careful. My brother's girlfriend wants to gain weight but cant.

I'm 5'5". I had always been an underweight child. The summer I turned 13, I gained 80 pounds. No one knows why. All the medical tests were inconclusive. I did not eat more, I was not any less active. After that, I always had minor struggles with weight. At one point before I was married I got up to 315. With a doctor's help I lost a lot. I was 170 when I got married, but after my children, I gained up to 275. I am currently working to get it off, but have massive problems with physical activity, but I am now down to 235. I want to get to 150. Just in the last 2 weeks I have lost 8 pounds since starting my dairy-free diet.

LAWDY we need to get 2011 AD.com weightloss club going! We had one last year but it fizzled out by March I believe. :(

Agree.

I need intervention.

Are you thinking of that new show on A&E called "Heavy"? I watched the pilot episode and I was OMG to this one woman that put ranch dressing on everything but ice cream - literally. But I was also shocked at how fast they were able to lose weight, but then again these are morbidly obese people.
