Documentary heavily edited. They probably edited out about 30 hours of film to get the approximate 2 hours that they ended up with.

No offense, but you only believe that to be true because you don't even understand what the problem is. I assure you that he is very much a part of the solution that the deaf want and need.

I'm just grateful to have this opportunity to make a model. There has been problems at this certain jail in the past with several deaf people, and it is going to change. I'm glad to be working with several people who really cares.

The reason they "really care" is because of dropped charges due to lack of accessibility though.

Unfortunately, it always takes a lawsuit for changes to be made in the penal system. I agree, though. Conditions for the deaf are exceptionally horrid. And we definately need someone advocating on that front.

You are amazing that you can speak to what people do and don't know. With all due reapect you have no clue what I know or don't know. And you speak as though there is only one problem that the deaf are dealing with but as you know full well there are many. And being part of the solution for some of the problems doesn't mean he is not doing harm for others.

I ask same for you. Please elaborate on that part where PFH suggested it's ok for a deaf child to be molested at a residential deaf school.

let us look at your cred -

so far.... you have a deaf child... and you have been struggling with learning a communication method which is ASL...

now what is your solution so far? getting your child to learn talking?

What does any of that have to do with my credibility? When have I ever suggested anything about having my child speak? If you want to gain support by what many claim are the roadblocks, then you should not alienate the people that can and are willing to help invoke change where many have suggested it is needed.
