It was not cold than NYC in the Northwest.....it is very similar to what I am having right now, as it is winter here. It is not too shabby and you wouldn't have to get frozen fingers in NYC!
Your, "what about me" is indicative of you wanting this meet-up in the West so you just need to hope the vote comes down that way, that's all.

I wasn't being too serious on Hawaii.
But I did think a cool beach breeze and some outdoor patio setting would be perfect somewhere. That way some of us would not have to wear heaps of clothing as you would during snow season.
One of the biggest problems is that I think if it's too far to drive or train for NY members, a lot of them are going to pass on a flight somewhere.
Looking at this from a realistic perspective, at most a 500-600 mile radius for all our locations to meet up seems the max for those willing to drive/commute.
