AllDeaf Meet - 30 Jan, 2010 in NYC

Yeah I were there to catch free street parking near Fifth Ave last few years ago. Very hard to find it. If go to NYC, don't need to get car. Use subway or cab.

Fifth Ave? damn it's a jungle out there to find a spot on that street. I think the parking rate right now is 25 cents per 15 min :mad2:

few blocks to Fifth Ave. I was lucky to catch street lot at night. Not daylight

Sounds great! I need to brush up on my ASL. I tutor an 8yr old, but that is on the weekend only, so my ASL has drastically dropped off. The saying "Use it or loose it" is soooooo true with ASL!.

I'll be there for short time before I go to Times Square. :) I am looking forward to meet some of you in there.

I noticed from your profile that you're from Long Island. Have you attended NYC-DPHH?

Thats all? wtf..

I pay more than that on a normal basis. $1.50 - $2 a hour.

the price and type of parking varies among the location. For ie - on certain avenues - it's only commercial parking until certain time so the only way to park in that location is to park at garage which is like $15 for half-hour or $30-40 for a few hours.

Makes sense. Someone gotta pay for the $200,000 parking spots.

Oh! which part of LI are you? I was born in commack until age 19. I moved out of LI. :tears: My parents sold a house and moved to florida. I am no longer living in LI. LI will always be home in my heart.
