Do you really believe what guide said? Guide is about dvd player. Why should explain about tv for enable CC? OFC. Guide is not clear but use your brain.

two word for you, calm down.

Yes I am surprised. Hmmm, Now then you have to think in the future and the company decide to stop build the (CC) decode in DVD player because there no law against that and what will you do? We have battle to create the law to keep it and we will have fulfill of entertainment. We still lucky that there some left for now.

Also thank for show me those DVD player plus which way do you hook up to TV cause I am curious. Maybe you did comment then I might miss it. Thanks.

No idea about law and don't really care to me since I enjoy to hunt down the hardware.

I checked brand new philips DVD player at Wal-mart store there are no more (CC) decode build in. I guess my luck ran out. I check many 2008 DVD players and not all support (CC) and no (CC) decode build in.

Oops I found same model as your on wal-mart online..... Only one so far........

So going to buy one.

erhmm

welll I imagine you paid 200plus for it that blows, my suggestion and p-lease dont be pissed buy a new dvdplayer for 25.99 itll have it erhmmmm sry for your loss

I wouldn't able to reply your post if you use CAP on for just one lines, that feel like offense at me and start losing my respect.

I want make real prove like wal mart don't said "CC decoder built-in" or related to make me to believe.

One day, I explained store manager that my experience.... our DVD player with composite cable (blue, red and green) does not work with CC. We would like to see Blu-Ray with CC. They accepted, we played with blu-ray to use HDMI. Found out no CC from blu-ray player/HDTV. He said, "why not use Subtitle". I told him that we do not like subtitle. We prefer to use CC.

None of BD movies support CC, only SDH due digital source issue.

blue, green and red is component cable, not composite because composite is red, yellow and white.

Trouble to read? just buy new glasses or move the seat to about closer to tv, or try patiently watch to get used, if not then struck with DVD.

I'm 100% satisfied with SDH on BD movies, SDH is crisper and nice than DVD does.

SDH and subtitle are not same.

SDH almost same as CC for background sound. I really like SDH over CC.

Banjo's World: HDTV Captioning: What You Should Know

if you buy new DVD Player bulti-in CC but we will be very upset becuase Company (WB, Universal Studios, other) are no longer Closed Caption. Disney's case did not show "CC", only SDH already with CC. I know Disney, MGM, other will no longer CC future, we need FCC Law back all normal CC

Why complain? you need new glasses or move seat to closer to tv screen to read SDH, or patiently to get used with it.

FCC wouldn't able to help or control the film industries, they could losing the rate and money, it's your fault.

So going to buy one.

Yes I already purchased and it's delivery to my home next week. But I am concern about future when they make more new model DVD player and our (CC) will be worthless and it's only for TV which will be waste of resource. I would like have more benefit out of (CC) by use DVD and DVD player too. I am still wonder about Blu-ray. I do have one inside my Playstation 3 but we need fight for our deaf right and our people in future. I am sure there people in past fight for us to get (CC) on TV.

My fault? you sound ridiculous because if there No subtitles and (CC) then you are out of order...... So think about future for our deaf people and you didn't think twice before you saying a word. Do you know film people make million dollars than you made a year then stop whine. Also be careful what you saying. I know my right and Thanks.

Why don't you buy it at the store? Easier to exchange or return if there are problems?

Amen! I glad you agreed. We the people need to do something. Did you know that I have Sony 40" TV have custom (CC) which you can change the caption look and style than just a plain text and box. there so much thing you can do with new features.

Yes I did with new Sony DVD player and explain to service and they tried many DVD player and all of them not support it anymore so I call direct to tech support at many different company and said same thing that not support anymore because there no law against it. I talked to FCC said the same thing. Now we are walking on thin ice, there is few DVD player left have (CC) decode build in and will stop make them soon. If we do something to add new law will be wonderful.

Nah. I like (CC) better. Let me explain you the point.

Hearing can control sound like Bass, Treble, and Volume.

Deaf only can turn on/off for Subtitle (SDH). I want that? NAH! I would like have custom (CC) than just plain ugly subtitles. if you happy with it then good for you.

Any comment?
