I just currently visit AllDeaf this morning. A post from the On-Topic Debate catches my attention.

"Westboro Baptist Church Home Page"
Westboro Baptist Church Home Page

I visited there at the FAQ (cos I am confused and want to know why) and it scared me out of shit... :eek3:

Now I completely lost my hope for entering the Heaven when I read:

Westboro Baptist Church FAQ

I'm kinda of confuse, I dont know if He have an another emotion than love and mercy.. I don't like their very-strong harsh comments, it's bit of immature and cold. :cold: :(

Well, what's yout thought of this?
Do you think God can hate what he dislikes?

Keep this thread clean and debate is accpetable except I don't accpet Evolution comments, they are not related to here.

I wouldn't even go to Westboro Baptist Church website! :rl:

They give Christians a bad name.

:ty: for provide interesting links. I haven´t chance to read the whole yet... I feel down and too upset over my soon to be 22 years old Sussi, cat...

Yes, There are websites out there that would do anything to make God, and Jesus look very bad. Only thing you can really trust is the bible. ;)

Oh, I'm so sorry. I hope your cat get better asap!

Right. I agree.

Do you think God can hate? I wonder.

Hmm, how do I say this simply...?

Yes, God has emotions. He has love and mercy, but also jealousy. If you would look into Rev. chap 4 where it describes the heaven and God itself... as it says here: BibleGateway.com - Passage Lookup: Rev. 4... God is of two stones: [Q]3And He who was sitting was like a (I)jasper stone and a (J)sardius in appearance; and there was a (K)rainbow around the throne, like an (L)emerald in appearance.[/Q]

Jasper is the color of red stone whilst sardius is more of a clear stone...

God's emotion is red like jasper showing his jealousy at people worshipping at other gods which he disapproves.

God's emotion is clear like sardius showing his love and mercy as it says in the following verses with the rainbow around the throne... showing mercy.

God just simply hates the SIN itself, but NOT the sinners. God loves everybody and gives everybody a chance to get to know him, to come to him so they may enter his Kingdom....

I hope that it helps? :)

Ooh, it makes sense now. Thank you for sharing with us. :D

No, God doesn't hate anybody, only the action of our sins, not the people.

Oh, yeah. That's what sleepytaz said. :)

Okay, I feel better.

Really, I have no idea what God have emotion or something.

"God hates you" comments are really on my nerve. :eek3: :ugh3:

Yea, I'm tired of that type of group who makes God sound all Angry and Bad just to SCARE you into being good, to follow God or whatever, but I don't believe in that type of approach.

A christian, or any religious for that matter who is teaching others should take a more gentle approach to draw interest so that they could study about the religious or for Christian, the Bible.

I'm a Christian myself and I'm TIRED of hearing people saying "You're going to Hell" It isn't even their place to say that! It will um fall back onto them one day for saying that to other people. They're NOT helping people, only to degrade them thinking they're worthless. I've had some experience of my grandfather saying that to my sister's ex-boyfirend who was just simply a catholic... "You're going to Hell because you're a Catholic!" Whoa!!

My father has said that to me, "You're going to Hell because of your lifestyle"

Oh gee, how uplifting! (not)

So, when I approach others, I take it with caution... never know if they're not even interested or want to know any thing about God having a strong opinion which I respect and leave it at that. I don't tell them that they're going to Hell because it is not MY place to say it, it is GOD's place to say it. Whether people believe in God or not, its up to the people because they're given the choice to believe and follow God or not. :)

:ty: :D

Just anything to help you to feel better and to understand better! ;)

Hun, since you're still young at heart, and have some fears on what being said about God, nor Jesus, but God warned us that there are many false prophets that are gone out into the world, even in Church where some would false teach us the wrong information nor create interpretations to feign their own importance. And even warned us of the temptations in the world. Even the movie "The DaVinci Code" is false teaching too.

If you sense something doesn't seem to fit in right with you, go to your bible and check, You'll have ur answers. ;)
