Just a note that I recently received a check from a group from Canada for 1900 dollars and we discovered that they were a fraud. Be careful with these guys. If you receive a check for something like that. have the bank make sure it has backing before you check it out.

Berkeley Parents Network: Tutor Scam

Another similar scam that tried to reel me in was this one. I am currently waiting on them to send me an address/phone number to contact them at. When/if I have that I plan on giving Scotland Yard (or whoever it is I should be contacting for police services) a phone call with the contact info.
 
There are all kinds of scams like these out there for jobs. Be careful. A lot of these are found on major sites like Monster, Yahoo, career builder etc... Just think in your mind if it sounds too good to be true for a job, it probably is.
 
Simple... avoid anything that costs money to make money.
