Alex, I don't know if this belongs in here.

But my brother's friend was working on my late uncle's house remodeling inside. When he ripped out the carpet he found a picture of my uncle. It's at least 4 or 5 years old.

My uncle was killed in a car crash 2 years ago.

This picture has alot of scratches and I was wondering if someone could...fix it for me.

It'd mean alot to me. I want to make copies and send to family since we only have 3 good pictures of him.

Pretty please....

I don't know anything about fixing it, but if I may offer a suggestion...

You can always look for a photo restoring place that's nearby...they will do whatever is possible to preserve the photo of your uncle. :) If the picture is as valuable as you say, you might be better off in the hands of trained professionals.
 
I know of a friend who does restoration -- she's in Massachusetts, but if you're interested, PM me and I'll contact my friend and see if she can do something for you for the photo. :)
