I was hard to get into.

Craig,

No surprise...uc davis is on 9th, it is tough to get into.

Jiro,

What wrong with rugters, still on 23rd?

In past, was on top 10.

doesn't matter if it's top 10 or 23rd.

it's not about what college you went to. it's about how you utilized the education you learned.

Matajan,

There are many who have went to the "so-called" number #1 ranked school and couldn't put their life on track to be the best at whatever. It doesn't work that way. Careers have a way of defining you regardless of what school one went to. Businesses and organizations are more interested and what you can do for them. Yes, having great grades and attending a prestigious school helps a lot but it is not the end all do all. If your personality stinks, then straight "A"s and a prestigious school isn't going to help much. Many organizations these days are looking to find people who not only did well in school but "fit" in with their organization.
