That is my listing. You can use each models only once. Each years only once. What will your listing look like? Here is mine....

1970 Chevy K5 Blazer
1971 International Travelall
1972 Chevy K20 pick up truck
1973 Jeep Commando
1974 Dodge Ram Charger
1975 International Scout II
1976 Ford Bronco
1977 Jeep Cherokee Chief
1978 Jeep Wagoneer Limited
1979 Jeep J20 pick up truck

My FAV would be the FSJ Cherokee Chief 4-door from the 70s, the 1975 CJ-6, and the 1978 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe in a solid color body, red especially. The only one I ever drove, actually, was the Custom Deluxe. Dad was simply not a Jeep person, and I was too young to have a CJ-6. I had never seen a CJ-8, so I wouldn't have known about it.

I take solace in the fact that my 2005 LJ (LWB TJ) has a similar wheelbase and overall length to that of the CJ-6 and CJ-8. It is in fact nearly as long as the JK Unlimited, but with a shorter wheelbase, though! I was very surprised to look at the numbers!

Hmmm....we had a 1978 International Scout II, which was the only 4x4 I liked during that era.

I like the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40.

A friend had an old land cruiser, thing was a tank. I know he regrets selling it. I wish the new ones where like the old ones.

Well, I used 1980's S-10 Blazer 4x4 with body lift kit. My transmission blew it at desert during to Labor Day holiday. I was involved with deafies ride a dirt bike and camping.... ugh, hate to remind me in past.

During my high school, I took a look at the 1969 Ford Bronco with 302 coupled with 3 speed transmission. It was a very nice and has 2 fuel tanks but the downside is that it only gets 8mpg. I had to pass the deal, I ended up getting my compact pick up truck.

I wish I got 8mpg now. We get about 4-5 all loaded up. I need a new truck.

:(

I like the model year for old Bronco is 1966 to 1970. If I find it somewhere, buy it and fix up like upgrade brakes, engine/tranny something like that...as good running then transport to Big Isle where I can use it for my vacation.

I wouldn't mind getting that back then but it's the wrong timing. I just needed a better vehicle that gives a decent mileage for school and my first job. If that Bronco gives a better mileage maybe 15mpg, I wouldn't mind, but 8mpg is too short trip for me that time.

I have a long time family friend who owns a 1956 Thunderbird with everything original with 3 speed manual... the ride is awesome! Wouldn't mind having one for special occasion. :)

Oooh, now seeing as I'm a brit it's gonna all be pretty much stuff like this....

1970. Series IIB Forward-Control LandRover

1971. Range-Rover. Maybe started the whole fashionable SUV thing?

1972 British Army Series III. Used to work on these things - not the most reliable of machines. I had plenty break on me, but never once did one ever fail to get me back home - even the one with a hole blown in the side of the engine block.

1975 Lightweight Air-Portable Landrover. Yes I know it looks a bit like a Jeep :)
images

1976 LandRover 101 Forward Control Ambulance. Fitted with a detuned Rover V8, twin carbs and a 3" exhaust. Terrible handling but an exhaust note like the howl of an angry God. Last used by the Army in Bosnia at the tail-end of the 90's and in Gulf War I.

1977. Landrover 101 Gun Tractor
images

1978 Aussie Army LandRover

1979 Something a bit different. Swedish Army Volvo C303. In 2002/2003 I spent an entertaining few months over in Sweden working for the Defence on a project involving these things. Great things to drive and totally unstoppable, steel bodywork and lotsa snow meant they rust like you would not believe!

Wow, what an impressive list!!!

I'm very surprised that Broncos got a bad MPG back then. Those 1966-1977 Broncos were really small!!! Small compared to K5 Blazers.

I am guessing they go for big bucks today because not many were made back then due to bad MPG. Now everyone wants them for wheeling. Those small wheelbases are great for wheeling.

Well if you are a pro mechanic like mine then you can convert to EFI system and switch to a modern 5 speed manual tranny, get good gas mileage. Honestly, I didn't know about bad gas mileage that early Bronco has... Probably poor turned carburetor like very dirty air filter. If there is carburetor you have to check air filter first buz the dirty air filter restrict air flow into carb, suck more fuel into the intake manifold to create bad gas mileage. I had been diagnosed them long time ago where I performed smog check on the carbureted vehicles.
