Deaf Services in Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is pleased to announce summer services for deaf visitors. Since 1979, Yosemite has provided a sign language interpreter during the summer season. Nanette Oswald, Deaf Services Coordinator, is available during June, July and August to interpret ranger programs, tours, and to provide park information for deaf and hard of hearing visitors. Individualized services for visitors are available and advanced arrangements are advised. Contact the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center at (209) 372-4726 (TTY), or (209) 372-0296 (Voice/TTY) for information or to arrange for interpreting services.

Were you talking about Sarina? I was thinking the same thing -- wondering about if she was still interpreting there.

cool hope to meet you if you come by to nor cali.........also i was supposed to go to hawaii two weeks ago but my mom cancelled the trip cuz she was worried its not a good time to get off work.....I was like GROWL cuz i told allll my friends i am gonna go.........and this is good time when school is out and hella cute boys there i am boy crazy LOL..........(BUT NOT EASY).... I heard hawaii will have something deaf festival in 2005 or something.... I am not sure.....

babyphat, yes 2nd week of june 2005 i will be there for one full week partly for interp and rest for visiting got ALOT of friends from the mainland also coming out too theres alot happening and u reeally should come,,,

Bowling event,
Dart tourney,
Ms Deaf hawaiian pagent,
sign langauge festival,
NAD conference

and the kick off to the deaf cruise

thats ALOT of info there but we will have the FINAL date for u in sepetember AND the locations of hotels and whatnots
