Hello all, Im zach reporting live from Jacksonville Florida. I was born hard of hearing but was raised in the hearing world. Im teaching myself ASL and plan to go back to school for a degree in Deaf Education in 2010. Thanks sooo much for making me feel welcome. WOOP WOOP!

i can sign the basics. My vocabulary consists of about 315 words covering common phrases, pro nouns, people, relationships, numbers, math terms, quantities, money, days of week and times. Now im working on action words. Im using the book "talking with your hands, listening with your eyes" which is a book i recommend. Very good approach to learning and retaining asl words.

On a side note... What gives people??? Some people have over 20 posts when they introduce themselves!!?? :P
