How's so interesting...... Mirc0$oft mak'n money...

sutiable for PC can use xbox still looks same. cool...

why you disagree , costly expensive controller. Remmy techogly for!

I aready spent my money on PC upgrades.... and save for new PC Star Wars Battlefront II at end of October. And I like to see and test the controller to see if it's worthly to use with emulators and few action PC games before make purchase.

Funny, IGN dont mention which stores actually sell Xbox 360 controllers or is they making mistake on release date? Otherwise, it's on Xbox 360 release date in Nov. :squint:

Yes I read X360 mag about controller can connect to pc or x360 either.. X360 controller supposed to hit on store shelf in november 15, 2005 but I heard that rumors in xbox.com and another site that said X360 controller will hit on store shelf in next week (more likely Oct 24, 2005).. :thumb:

I found out more information about the xbox360/PC controller. The regular wired controller that comes with the basic xbox package (the green box) will also work on the PC after downloading the drivers off the M$ site.

The Xbox 360 Controller for Windows retail product will include a driver for Windows XP-based PCs. The wired Xbox 360 Controller, which comes with the core Xbox 360 system, will also work on Windows XP-based computers after users download the available driver from Microsoft. The Controller has a 9-foot breakaway controller cable that plugs into a standard USB port.

I found Best Buy sell those controllers for $45, overpriced than Microsoft's retail price. :-o I need to wait until anything's cool down.....

Oh yes... here's an article on Xbox 360 controller test.

If you plans to get those controller, could you do test and review on your PC games or emulators? I hope for key mapper software (whatever you call it)... just like Profile editor/manager software I had for my n52.

Deathpit, you are right, its too high price from best buy: Microsoft Xbox 360 Cross-Platform Gaming Controller .. it sound like rip off..

MS was recommending X360 wired controller is retail 39.95.. But I don't know why best buy wanted 360 controller for 45 bucks!?? But Compusa selling XBOX 360 CONTROLLER for $39.99.. Wait and see Target, and wal mart in eventually sooner!
