Rumor I am not sure which they will called "Xbox 2" or "Xbox Xenon" or "Xbox Next"? Need ur feedback...

I've been hearing that most people are calling it the "Xbox Next"...

I guess it sounds better than calling it "Xbox 2" since Sony already called it "Playstation 2" after they were done with the orginal Playstation...so...Mircosoft can't do the same thing as Sony did and call it "Xbox 2"...just gotta come up with a different name than that.

:werd: I have always called the xbox 2 the "xbox Next" but I just saw xbox.ign.com often refer to the xbox 2/Next as the "xbox 360"!

why on earth would someone call it the Xbox 360??

is it due to the graphics design or something?

don't get me wrong, there are some games who are capitable of having a 258 bits game engine going in a less advanced system like the Nintendo 64 and Playstation...

for example, Resident Evil 2 run on a 258 bits engine for the Nintendo 64 version.

Playstation 2 , Dreamcast, and GameCube only runs on a 128 bit graphics engine, while Xbox is the most powerful beyond the other consoles and could possibly run as about more than 350 graphics engine...

and if Xbox 2 is going to run on a 360 graphics engine, then I guess that's only about 10x times more detailed than the orginal Xbox graphics engine...

just an opinon here, people.

There may be another meaning for the 360 in the "xbox 360" =

a 360 degree full spin as you know the xbox Next would be more a 360 degree more radical than the original xbox. 180 degrees is a half-spin and the original xbox was 180 degrees of spin better than the PS2 and GCN when it first came out. With the xbox Next, MS makes it a complete 360 degree bringing the next generation to a full complete revoltuion....

Just my 2 cents saying so......
