www.vpcorder.com GONE !!

Get me some real news about Scott Wireless or VPCorder going out of business. I don't even know if VPCorder.com was even his website to begin with.

VPCorder is Scott's web site and his business partner is Robert Rademacher.

If his VP Corder works, why dont you get a gay porn tape, pop into yor VCR, play the tape and point your vp in front of your tv, then call Scott. you ll get a kick out of it

Robert Rademacher and Scott Johnson are business partners, selling vpcorders.

I am aware that they were partners for Deafwireless, but not for VPcorders. Until there's news otherwise, it's still jumping to conclusions, even though it's very believable that they are in business for vpcorders. We have to find out if Robert purchased the site for Scott to use instead of using it for their own business, or if Scott used Robert's name without his permission, or whatever.

The bottom line still is, where is the proof that it's gone out of business, other than an expired domain name?

The reason he went out of business is that Sorenson forbids anyone who open the videophone to hardwire for a video answering machine. it did occur at recent deaf expo. You have to send your vp to Scott for modifications and he will return it with a VCR machine. He may wreck your vp.

Parnters or not, they are in business together, trying to captialize and obtain the patent for the term "first video answering machine". my opinion, wont take off. who cares about permission stuff when it comes to domain names. that is between two guys.

Go to www.deafworks.com and see a device that is approved by Sorenson, since it uses IR signals to control vcr, vp and dvd player.

a) Sorenson has never clearly said whether or not their giving away of free videophones was a "loan" or a "giveaway." When something is a giveaway, certain ownership rights are implied, including the right to void your device's warranty. Sorenson can't prevent you from opening up your VP, and they certainly haven't made any public statements stating otherwise.

Nowhere does ANY SITE say "approved by Sorenson" for EITHER the vpcorder nor the VP++. If you have any proof, I'd love to see it. I doubt EITHER device would ever be approved because Sorenson doesn't want to lose control of the VP market. If they don't come up with it themselves, they won't support it. Therefore, it makes NO DIFFERENCE whether or not you believe Sorenson "supports" something, it isn't stated anywhere and no, it's not something that would be kept hidden. If you were OFFICIALLY sanctioned by Sorenson, you'd have it plastered everywhere for everyone to see.

Doesnt matter if Sorensons says in their policy if you get it free or as a loan. it is still property of Sorenson if they demand your unit back.

Like any other freebies, the company cant prevent you from opening up the equipment. Doenst matter if Sorenson says in their public statements. Heck, you know what the issue is. So, if you refuse to give up you vp, Sorenson has the ability to block your VP from their monstrous database of MAC IDs. That issue is trivival cause anyone can open any electronic boxes in their homes as there are no control

So, you didnt look hard enough, here is the link.

http://www.deafworks.com/VP/compare.html

I got the comments from sorenson management that they approved in principal deafworks' vp answering machine over scott's vpcorder. that should be enough to knock out Scott's business.

Well, great. I wonder why Sorenson doesn't come out and say that it's approved by Sorenson? Why won't deafwireless make a big deal out of it, instead making it a small, buried by-line in some feature matrix?

In any case, that matrix is a great thing to have, though you can totally tell it was written in "deaf speak".

No positive customer of VPcorder as of yet?

Interesting!

All I know is that Sorenson never clearly state of ownership of videophone, nor even strictly enforcing the policy. I think basically they know the life expectancy of the videophones so they would generally NOT bother demand anything back due to the cost of disposal of these devices. Any business that disposes any electronics device are required by EPA to properly dispose them! They cost $$$ anyway. Residential should have been applied as well, but EPA isn't strictly enforcing them as they should have. Reason for properly disposal of these electronic device is because they contain mercury, lead and other environment hazardous materials. That is why EPA is very strict with them. You may noticed and why most corporations give away free computers... they are cheaper to give away than to throw away!

Right. This should be enough to justify that www.vpcorder.com disappeared.

Tossing out VP100 in the trash is much, much less dangerous than televisions and computers. I hear Sorenson literally destroy them before tossing out, so there is no reason you go to the back of Sorenson buildings to rummage through their trash bins

Not only scotwireless but anyone that hires Steve Kittell for their merchant services is bound to have customers complaining to them. Both OCDAC and WCDAC got a lot of complaints from customers of companies that have subcontracted Kittell for their merchant services. They have sent their complaints to us through our SKMM website.

Pardon us, we are not talking about anything outside of Robert Rademacher and Scott Johnson who owns the VPcorder rights. Let's stick to this topic, "www.vpcorder.com GONE!!!". Thank you for understanding...

Pardon me but I presented a theory of why vpcorder went belly up.

Does not matter, because Sorenson is BUSINESS, therefore EPA applies all of the laws to EVERY BUSINESS, regardless of volume. One speck of environment unfriendly product is enough for EPA officals to go up the walls against any business owners.

For residential, EPA just muffed and does not like it, yet not enough power to enforce the EPA law.

well, tv and monitors have lead and other dangerous substances inside the picture tube, too toxic to throw away. videophones have nothing substantial dangerous stuff when its tossed into landfills.

me hear that sorenson literally destroy them so it can be reused. maybe we can use your backyard as lieu of landfills.
