All i can say is wow. I definitely wanted to get this! Much more safety/securities for us all. Is it available in stock?

So it warn you when it is thundering and lightning? I was stuck by lighting when closing a window as I did not hear the thunder just before the lighning struck me.
 
actually, with thunder and lightning, there is a time delay. even if you could hear it, it's hard to tell when it will strike and where.

I know if I had heard the thunder I would not had close the window when I did as you never know where the lighning will hit. It was an awful feeling!
 
usually lightning strike before the thunder (speed of light is faster than sounds) , You'll need a lightning rod if it coming too close to your house

it's terrible that you got struck

but yeah, it would a good idea to alert you that there are thunder activity going on. You know you will be about to strike if your hair of your arm rise up.

I am not sure if my condo has a lightning rod . Yeah I was in a lot of pain the next day.

It's the lightning bolt that causes the thunder through the rapid expansion of air around a lightning bolt that produces the extreme change in temperature and pressure. So, yeah, a lightning bolt has to strike first before you can hear thunder...always....and not "usually."

I did not hear any thunder during that storm , I do hear thunder when it really loud . I am careful about closing my windows during a storm now.
