The world's shortest man, 29-inch-tall (73cm) He Pingping, has died. He was just 21 years old.

He was admitted to hospital two weeks ago after suffering a chest complaint and died on Saturday, the BBC reported.

A native of China, He was in Rome filming a TV show when he fell ill.

"From the moment I laid on eyes on him I knew he was someone special," the editor-in-chief of Guinness World Records, which certified He's status, told the BBC.

"He had such a cheeky smile and mischievous personality, you couldn't help but be charmed by him."

I remember watching the documentary on TV about this world's shortest man few months ago.

That's terrible.

It make me wonder after I know that short cannot handle the alcoholic during the size cause death? More like not... I guess that something mass of body cannot handle to live that much longer.
 
He had primordial dwarfism and people who have it usually live less than 30 years.
