I wondered if anyone might be interested in sharing their opinions with me... I am writing a dissertation on wordless books for children (but also addressing that they can be used for all ages), and some of my readings have explained that wordless books (such as The Snowman, Tuesday, The Angel and The Soldier Boy) can be useful for deaf children, as well as bilingual and second language learners. Unfortunately, although I have seen this written a few times, there is not a lot of explanation as to how or why.
Therefore I wondered if anyone can share with me their experience with wordless books, and tell me why and how they could be best used for deaf children. Any opinions would be so gratefully recieved!
