Awww... it's admirable that you care for your kids to consider their welfare. And wow... I remember you saying once that German laws don't allow you to be away from your underaged kids even for vacation. I do wish you could be there, if I do go ;) Oh hell, I have to tell the hubby about it.. he'll probably be rolling his eyes.. there goes Liza again, talking of travel and dreams :)

Oooh!!! That does look fun. I've never been on a cruise before. :) Best I can say right now though is we can look into it and see if we can't save up some moolah and join you all!

That's why we CAN't leave underage children until they are old enough to look after themselves.

Yes, we will be in trouble if we leave our underage children alone in the house for weeks. All what we do is wait until they are old enough. (I mean 18 years old).

Accord German law: 14 years old can stay home alone without parents around for one day to weekends only if the parents trust their mature. I can't image to leave my children alone for weeks holiday when my children are 14 years old. I would not enjoy myself on my vacation thinking what happened to my children. No Way!

I left my children alone in the house up to 1 to 2 hours for shopping because I trust them.

I envy after reading long pages here. I WISH to meet you and other AD'er on the cruise. I bet it will be fun.

We love traveling. We already travelled before start family which it's good. We can wait until our children are old enough (18 years old) then we can travel again as usual.

Would you bring children with you? OR get one of your relatives to watch your children?
 
I might wanna make mention that it'll be our wedding anniversary on oct 20, 2007 :) ooh, would make us married for 5 years.

Is anybody able to make sure this offer is certifiable and geninue, and not a way to rip off the deaf community?

Prepared for my 1st honeymoon as condiser our 4th anniversary from July 7th goes for October 28th 2007 on "Deaf Cruise" Perfect... *hmmmm*

I'd probably leave them with one of the relatives...it's a bit much to think about - and am not sure I can afford for all of 'em to go! Not promising that even I'LL be there. LOL.

Yes, I know it's expensive to bring kids with me.

the cruise is suitable for couple, not family.

I'm wondering who is still going?!! DeafScuba98 and I'm going!! I was suppose to go with a friend but she dropped the plans so DeafScuba98 wants to go and we're going. :) :cheers:

I decided not to go on this cruise after the way Mac and Tabitha Partlow mistreated me and others. I will be going on a different cruise with another travel agency.

Did anyone get to see flyer about PRE CRUISE PARTY ?? I look at the flyer with link and WHOA!!!! It is expensive for hotel and party! :shock:

I find myself that group will join for cheaper hotel and party for ourselves. Whew! I am happy I can afford that much altogether for room and trip.
