I am curious if any one else is a living kidney donor and gone deaf ?? Have had two Dr s say they think there is a connection . Gave kidney seventeen years ago to brother with alports disease. Which is rare hereditary disease that takes your,hair,hearing,eyesight and your kidneys. He lost part of hearing before transplant but has lost none since. Does wear aids in both ears but has better hearing than I by far.I have only small percentage in left ear only.
