Woman used a pepper spray to cut in line up during Black Friday Shopping

Yeah, like Cindy Jackson (American) and Sarah Burge (British) who had surgeries to look like Barbie doll.

Exactly. Images like these contribute to all kinds of issues in developing girls and women. Children should be provided toys that allow them to develop appropriately. What ever happened to books, and puzzles, Legos, art paper and supplies, etc.? No one ever ended up with an eating disorder by learning to develop creativity and thought.

Barbie Dolls and the like contribute to the prevalence of eating disorders and other issues by the message they send.

You are correct. Barbies do not promote an accurate image of women generally speaking.

I bought alot of books and legos too (Barnes and Noble has a toy section with legos) :thumb: I donate books daily. My local Starbucks has a book stand full of children's books you can buy and donate. Everything from board books to Judy Moody. I buy a couple with every frappuccino. I will be drinking another in about 3 hours. :)

Jillio,

Your are correct. Girls grow up thinking they should look like Barbies and boys grow up thinking that is what girls should look like. Not a healthy diet for either.
