Daily Herald | Woman to teach deaf in Kenya
In September, Arlington Heights resident Megan Blair DaPisa departed for Kenya to begin pre-service training as a deaf education Peace Corps volunteer. This month, she'll graduate from training and begin educating deaf students in a school and community setting.
DaPisa, the daughter of Bob and Terry DaPisa of Arlington Heights, is a graduate of Rolling Meadows High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in special education from Minnesota State University at Moorehead in 2007.
