A woman was watching TV when her phone rings, she answers, “Hello.”
“Hi, May I Speak to Mrs. Watson, please.”
“This is her speaking.”
“Mrs. Watson, this is Doctor Campbell at the Medical Testing Laboratory In New York calling. When your family doctor sent your husband’s biopsy to the lab yesterday, a biopsy from another Mr. Watson arrived as well, and now we are uncertain which one is your husband’s. Frankly, the results are either bad or terrible.”
“Excuse me, what do you mean?” said Mrs Watson extremely nervous.
“I am sorry for the mix up, but one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer’s, and the other one tested positive for HIV. We can’t tell which is your husband’s.”
“Oh my goodness, that’s dreadful! Can’t you do the test again?” questioned Mrs. Watson.
“Yes, normally we can, but Medicare will only pay for these expensive tests one time.”
“Well this is your fault, what am I supposed to do now?”
“The people at Medicare recommend that you drop Mr. Watson off somewhere in the middle of town. And if he finds his way home, don’t sleep with him.”
