I know that some teachers ask for people who are deaf to come to their school to talk about what it is like to be deaf. I sincerely hope that those teachers do their home work which is to do background check on the person who is deaf. No, I am not talking about hiring a detective to check out on that person. I'm referring to asking the person some questions. I would hope that those teachers are sm...art enough to take time to look for deaf people who are talented instead of just picking random one to do speech. I would love to say the same for ASL students. I hope that ASL students interview those who are deaf AND talented. That way they would learn something as opposed to interviewing someone simply because they are deaf for school credit.

---Please understand that I am not talking about finding a deaf college president to give a talk at your school or interview for your ASL class. I'm simply hoping that teachers and ASL students pick deaf people who are working and/or currently going to school. I know a lot of deaf people pick to do nothing with their time and just earn free money. I hope teachers and ASL students are aware about that and look hard for those that are doing something in our society.

It's like black. The interviewer see black with skill and well experience and white with zero experience and act like idiot. Interviewer choice... white!
