why my body look better thinner?

Every time I look in the mirror, I notice I look a lot better
in the morning...

My body look like those sexy movie stars on tv.

But then after eating breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack,
In the evening before I go to bed... I looked in the mirror again, my body look bloating...

I don't get it.

Do you need my help? Can I come over your place to lock the fridge?

The Correct Answer...

Nobody has come up with the correct answer yet here so I might as well chime in. They say knowledge is power and I'd like to empower as many people as I can.

I am assuming that The Empress is looking in the same mirror in the morning and night, so the mirror can't be blamed for the difference. I do find several of the posts here hilarious nevertheless. :giggle:

The real answer is because of subcutaneous water. Subcutaneous means "under the skin" for those who were wondering. During the day, depending on what somebody eats/drinks (carbohydrates, sodium and water especially), the person's activity levels (sweating, etc), and any diuretics (like caffeine) taken, water is retained subcutaneously, making a person look bloated and lose muscle definition. That is why The Empress complains about looking bloated at night.

So why does she look like a movie star in the morning? Because overnight, she is no longer eating any carbohydrates, her sodium and water intake is down to zero. She is slowly dehydrating, and when she dehydrates slowly, the body utilizes subcutaneous water first. When she wakes up, and before she eats or drinks anything, if she looks in the mirror, her skin is "thinner" which reveals muscle shape and cuts better.

People who have a higher fat percentage won't see a difference between morning and night because the fat prevents any muscle definition from showing through, even when subcutaneous water is low. This only works if somebody is already lean.

So why not just cut out all sodium, water and carbohydrates? That would be very unhealthy to do, and the body will fail rather quickly if you eliminated even ONE of the above items. Water is necessary for obvious reasons. Sodium is a essential mineral for your body. Carbohydrates keep your thyroids happy and provide the majority of your readily available glucose (body sugar = energy).

There are healthy ways to control this, but it would take me several days if not weeks to teach some of the things I know, and understand about nutrition and fitness. I have washboard abdominals in the morning AND at night, but it took many years of exercising, proper nutrition research to fully understand the mechanisms of the human body in order to achieve this. It requires a commitment that most people don't have, or want to put forth. Just eat healthy, don't worry about it too much, and enjoy life.

If anybody really wants to know more, I'll be happy to share some more.
