Why does Xbox 360 is better than PS3?

My younger son won Xbox with 10 games for €74 ($110) at ebay yesterday. He tried xbox 360 including games but go up to €200 to €250. I told my son to bid up to limit €150 only. He gave up xbox 360 and decide for xbox so he tried for days until he won for €74 at last which is an unbelievable... Normally at xbox bid up to €150 or over.

This xbox for his xmas gift and he need to look for something more for another €70 up to €150.
