Who is the real Father of VRS? The question popped in my head for quite a while. I decided to set out and do a bit of poking around and researching. I asked all major VRS providers: Sprint, CSD, Sorenson and HOVRS.

Good question! I have heard argument between Sorenson and HOVRS. There is no hard proof. I know for sure CSD, Sprint and other VRS came in after Sorenson and HOVRS.

The idea of Videophone dated way back in late 20's!!! At that time, VRS wasn't even part of the idea. The first videophone call was placed from Anaheim, California to the Empire building in New Yawk city, and that was sometime in early 50's
 
Ed Bosson is the father of VRS, period. He made VRS into reality.
