Which is Best Home Networking Router?

Most of the time firmware is pretty much transparency, you don't really notice until you study it harder you will see it. Some of them are "hard coded" and won't let you open it up to configure them.

Why do I need to open up the codes? Is it about the hackers?

Here is an example of my Network window:

Oh, I see. I guess that you know a lot about computer stuff. I have NetBarrier software to prevent hackers into my computer. Probably, it is not enough to have more security because of the router, right?

Do you know what to do with your router that would give you the most security?

I don't follow whats most secured. Why? Everything changes alot over time. For example, Norton used to be most secured software. But because too many people have it, then the virus writer found out how the norton was programmed, so they got work around to fool norton, thus ended up got less secured. So, it is really unpredictable.
The best you can do is use your common sense. I would NEVER trust wireless network. Wireless network is fairly new, there is hidden disaster waiting to happen.
