As for me, I proably will be playing alot of games that are coming for Xbox this summer. :D

Games I will play around summer:

Spider-Man 2, Driv3r, Ninja Gaiden (hey I haven't rent it yet lol)

and so afew more will be coming...

so what 'bout you guys?

I'll probably be playing my Playstation 2 since I'm trying to collect all the dog tags on Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance. So far, I've collected all the dog tags for VERY EASY and EASY. I'm missing a few on NORMAL and I'm at the very end of the game. When I beat the game, I'll play NORMAL again focusing on collecting the dog tags. Usually, the first time through takes a long time cuz I'm busy collecting dog tags. Some soldiers appear later in the game so they are easily overlooked. That's why I can speed through the game the second time except for those specific locations I've missed. My goal? Collect every dog tag in every mode... 5 modes: very easy, easy, normal, hard, & extreme. I have a 6th but I haven't found any dog tag information on that so I don't know if there are any. I can't wait to collect enough to consider myself a proud owner of the stealth suit!

lol good luck man... I've collected just one dog tag of Liquid Snake's in Metal Gear Solid : The Twin Snakes on GameCube lol

You have that game yet? I think it's alot better than Metal Gear Solid 2...in my opinon though.

Why is it better? I heard that it's the original Metal Gear Solid but with the graphics of Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty along with the first person view and guardrail thing as well. Is there something else included? From your post, it sounds like they added the hold up feature and included dog tags in the game as well. I remember playing the original game on Playstation and they had 3 secrets. If you beat the game one way, you get the infinite ammo bandana. If you beat the game the other way, you get the stealth suit. If you earned both secrets, the 3rd secret is unlocked... Solid Snake in a tuxedo. Is there something more in there that I don't know about? I do plan on buying that game for the Gamecube later... probably this Fall when I have money. :dunno:

It's better because of how the storyline goes...and has good cast of characters rather than the sequel...

the graphics in MGS2 is definetly great, but I didnt think the story is as good as the orginal... just in my opinon that is. I just like to hear a good story line, along with great graphics that way it would be way more entertaining, ya know?

plus, the cutscenes in boss battles are extremely cool also.

Ah, I see. Yeah, the storyline is weird. There's too much surprises and suspense in Metal Gear Solid 2. I just beat the game on NORMAL a few minutes ago. Now, I'm gonna play NORMAL again so I can collect the dog tags that I missed. Heh! When I'm done with that, I'll move on with HARD. It's not even July yet! At least I still have the VR missions to finish. :thumb:

What are the controls like for MGS: Twin Snakes? If I remember correctly, Playstation has 8 buttons while Gamecube has only 7 buttons.

For first person view, you press the Z button behind the R button and you use the yellow control stick for camera movement when pressed against a wall or box.

You use the b button to punch and kick and a button for firing a weapon. You use L button to select items and R button for weapon selection...so far, the style and gameplay is pretty similar to the Playstation 2 controller...expect that the gamecube doesn't have a "double click" control stick like Playstation 2 and Xbox does, you know?

L1 L2 R1 R2 L3 R3 square circle triangle x selecet start I think the PS2 controller has about 12 buttons while gamecube does have about 8 buttons

Ah, thanks! :thumb:

I've just beaten the game for the 6th time! Now, I'm gonna play HARD mode. Heh! Two more levels to go! That means, 4 more rounds! I have a feeling that HARD mode is gonna be a nightmare...

trust me...it's gonna take a while to beat hard mode before you know it...lol

but good luck! :D

Any advice for HARD mode?

Yep. just be more alert and be as sneaky as possible. Often use first person view to watch where you are going before you bump into an enemy...you shouldn't be spotted at ALL, though.

Good luck.

Actually, I've gotten every dog tag for VERY EASY, EASY, and NORMAL. Now, I've got infinite ammo and stealth suit! Now, I can hold up anyone at ease and destroy anyone I want without worrying about running out of ammo! Hehehe!

Hmmm u got a point... but on hard mode, there'll be much more enemies to take care of, and without being spotted at ALL, so let me know how it goes. :thumb:

Well, I've already earned the stealth suit so I can hold up the soldiers while being invisible! Hehehe! I just started playing HARD mode. It took me a few minutes to get to Olga without any alerts and collected every dog tag along the way (except those that require a lethal gun). Hehehe! :thumb:

hmm looks like you might be doing okay in hard mode anyway lol

even the stealth suit is one of the greatest ways to trick your enemy heh

keep up the good work, soldier!
