Men's Health Rates Towns For Erectile Dysfunction

Even though they don't often like to admit it, sometimes men need a little help.

Men's Health magazine decided to take a look at which major U.S. cities most need a little Viagra.

To come up with the rankings the magazine studied several factors, including risk factors for erectile dysfunction such as obesity, smoking and diabetes. They also noted how many urologists were in the town, as well as number of prescriptions for Viagra, Levitra and Cialis.

The 10 cities most in need of help were:

1. Tulsa, Okla.
2. Lubbock, Texas
3. Charleston, W.Va.
4. Arlington, Texas
5. Fort Worth, Texas
6. Oklahoma City
7. Anchorage, Alaska
8. Bakersfield, Calif.
9. Modesto, Calif.
10. Omaha, Neb.

The magazine also provided an interactive map that allows citizens to see where their hometown ranks in the several categories.

Men in Boston had the best sexual health, according to the ranking.

curious, i understand, lots of older guys take viagras due to their aging. But i notice close to 30 years old, guys do take viagras too. i wonder if older guys who had problem when they were in 20's anyway???? just curious.

I wonder what the criterion were for this list?

In other words, how do they go about determining which city has the most cases of ED? Is this done by surveying doctors and finding out how many of their patients have ED and/or take Viagra?

I know I'm probably overthinking this thread and it was perhaps meant to give readers a chuckle, but I'm curious as to how the results were obtained.
