Well, my wife totaled the Infiniti on the way home from work, wow, just wow.... she wasn't speeding and it was pouring down rain, the car hydroplaned and slammed into the concrete barrier, hard.
Bent the rear axle, blew out the transmission, crumpled the body.... its totaled. Luckily the van is fixed so she can still get to work tomorrow. but we are still down to one car.
The stepdaughter with her mouth don't listen and been running her grand am on straight water, finally blew her motor up as well, I love when Karma bites her in the ass... Just the other day I got it running again for her but she was like " Im a Junior, Im not taking a bus to school" attitude, so I couldn't finish the fix, so now she needs a whole new motor...hahahahaha serves her sorry ass right.

Wow!

I'm glad they're not hurt.

Sorry for your family's bad luck. Hope next week is better!

Thanks, and Im sure it will pick up soon. My wife is renting the drywall jack again this weekend so I can get the bedrooms drywalled. I talked to Laclede gas today on getting a meter in place as well as financing a new HVAC unit and getting it installed. Looking good so far. Hopefully with the small settlement we are supposed to get for an accident 3 years ago will push us through the final stages to get the occupancy permit.

Hey, it would be worse. Those rear wheel drive Infiniti..... some people shouldn't have rear wheel drive for obvious reason.

I agree, I grew up with RWD...she has only driven FWD and they handle very differently. Me, I probly could have managed it, well, I know I would have to an extent. Her on the other hand froze up as it wouldn't straighten out for her. I know last winter in my truck a car cut me off on the highway and she was impressed on how calm and smooth I pulled it off not to spin out or lose control. I told her Im used to it being I grew up in the city and also raced.... its a mentality thing
Men are like, Ok I got this, alright...done.
Women are like, OH SHIT ! BAM....lol

Glad your wife is okay! Hehehe, instant Karma for the step daughter... I always love when that happens!

What I loved most is the step daughter is two faced, she acts like an angel but a bitch when her boyfriend or others aren't around. Yesterday as the tow truck left, the car was cocked in the driveway so my wifes ex used his truck to push the car over and also move it bback off the sidewalk, the stepdaughter wanted to steer it but couldn't get the key to turn so I showed her how to release tension off the steering wheel, then she went to put it in neutral and I said wait til the car is engaged or she will roll, then started screaming at me that she knew what to do, no one else is helping her so I said fine, **** your dads truck up!!! lol
Her boyfriend looked at her like wtf? and I told him, that's the real her and that's how she talks to me all the time, He said there is no reason for that, she wasn't happy. So, as we are trying to lock things up, the stepdaughter is in the garage looking for her dads car jack and asks me what I did with it...Me? No no no no, she put it in her car, which she swears she didn't, so yelling at me and all in front of her dad, I said open your trunk and look, as she is yelling and mouthing. so where was the jack...yup, so she's embarrassed now, and goes to slam her trunk lid, and damn near knocks her boyfriend out...LMAO oh it was a sight to see.
so in the end, her dad says she needs a new motor, which confirms what I said the other day to her in which she doesn't believe me, so I told everyone right there, that I will never help or fix another car she gets,

Your step daughter sound like she is still having temper tantrums and should not be driving if she has no control of her temper. I bet she has road rage and I am sure glad I do not have to drive on the same roads as her.

Drives like her mom... glad she aint mine.

Yeah , then you would have to pay through your nose for car insurance.

I am glad I have a clean driving record , I never got a speeding ticket and only two parking tickets my whole life.

Im a safe driver myself, I trust my driving more than anyone... I always volunteer to drive on trips.

Just had a complete blow up about the kids and their attitudes.... Told mom I was tired of her turning a blind eye as well. Told them all they can go their own way and Ill live in peace at my house because Im not putting up with the shit anymore. Her daughter lied right to her face and I pointed out the truth, as well as with her attitude which mom acknowledged she has seen, so I said snip it in the ass here and now!

I don't blame you at all. When my stepson wanted to live with his dad and me in my condo I set some ground rule for my stepson. No drugs allowed in my home and he had to go to drug rehab and get a job. I was not going to enable my stepson like everyone else was doing. He did not like my rules and moved out 3 days later. I even called the drug rehab to see if they had opening before I allowed my stepson to move in so he would have any excuses to not go.
Is everyone moving out or are they going to try and get their act together?

They better get there act together or they aint moving in.
I am so fed up with their lazy asses. Supposed to wash any dishes they use yet they just pile up, leave their trash/soda cans and whatever else wherever, or pile on the counter which is right at the door to open and trow in the trash can ( no room in kitchen for the can so it sits right outside the kitchen door to the attached garage) Im stay at home but Im tired of cleaning after a 14 and 17 year old when we have a baby who is 3 who is a handful to care for daily, I keep the house clean but by time they get home from school at 3 and go to bed at 9 the house is ransacked, im not having it at my house, I never had to clean but sweep and mop every so often with my last 2 relationships and they manipulate mom, walk all over her (she knows it too) but yet shes afraid they will run off... boo hoo, let them go live with their dad or boyfriend and see what rules they have as I know they don't want to live with dad because he is strict. They don't know how well they got it here then again, they run the place still.

that's the life of having kids....

that's the life of having kids....
Read... they aren't my kids, I don't have to deal with them. And I refuse to put up with their bullshit. Mom can take them and be on her way and deal with them herself. I only need to care for my son.

that's the life of having kids....

That is not true , that is the life of having poor parents . Too many parents want to be their kids friends today instead of being a parent. We had to wash the dishes or put them in the dish washer after dinner when I was a kid .
