yup. saw this video months ago. it's all about what you have done for your community... not what you have accomplished for yourself.

From time to time, I have given up a few hours of my weekends to pick up trash in my community but it is not on a consistent basis. I am trying to make it into a routine. I also would like to sign up to work in a homeless shelter. I want my son to help me so he can grow up with a sense of helping others.
 
Yes I will. Through animal rescue and donation to abused women and children.
 
I am always picking up people trash at the duck pond I walk Marty at and when I saw that someone left a backpack right next to court house a few days I reported it to polices and a cop came to check out backpack and see if safe to pick up. I may not leave the world in a better place but I am trying my best to leave my neck of the woods in a better place. The duck pond and park is enjoyed by a lot people and I hate seeing people leaving their trash around especially near the pond as it could harm the ducks so I am trying to also leave the park a better place for wildlife that call it home.
 
I don't know that I have left the world a better place.
But I try. Every day.
Just little acts of kindness to a long ways.

Giving a quarter to a little child so they can get bubble gum, or get fish food to feed the fish.
Helping a elderly person with a task.
Picking up someone else's papers they dropped for them.
Smiling at a lonely person.
Putting a gift card to a local store in someone's yard for them to find later.
Hugging a stranger because they're crying.

I am not wealthy in the sense of the world.
But I am wealthy in the memories I have made, and the little things I have done.
 
i think i will...because of my contribution to new knowledge ,by then I created new research materials and more conscientized Deaf people will be left to carry out more work..
