someone asks you some question like *Do you understand me?* or *I told you three times* or *Didn't you hear me when I called you?*

(hearing people) no signs nothing but a person who speaks to you.
 
I'd say I didn't listen you, just kidding I can't hear you.
 
Yea, most people didn't know that Im deaf. When they talk to me. Like for today... Someone said, *Do you understand me?* I was confused like what she is talking about? I said Hey.. I am deaf and I don't know what you are talking about understand you? because I didnt hear when she talked to me.. (throw my hands in the air like what) :dunno:

that happens to me alot of times so i always ask them to do it in writing lol
 
i aint paying attention to me or tells them that i cannot hear! *pointing to my ears and shook my head*
 
I always point to my ear to tell that I am deaf. It happened to me all the time in my karate class.

I am profound deaf. My db is 85-90

I hardly to ask them to WRITE it down because i am good lipreading
 
i'm a good lip reader too but most ppl talk too fast or mumble all the time...it's just so annoying and embrassassing that i have to ask them to speak NORMAL or write it on paper
 
I realized that it's easier for me to understand young women's lips than men. Obviously, they got high pitch voices.
 
I alway say I Cant hear you and point my hand to my ear!

that what i thought. women seems to speak clearer then men do but i don't always understand them too

not always that women have high pitch of voices.. but i dont have high pitch of vocals... only sissies do. :laugh2:
