A business tried to play dirty with you, and make you pay for something you'd already paid for? What would you do?

I had this happen to me, and I denounced the store, and swore I would never set foot inside of it ever again, and that was 9 months ago, almost 10, and the store was a phone store, and at first they were good to me, and then showed their TRUE colors when they tried to play dirty. Unluckily for them, I had a sharp memory, and wasn't fooled.

What would you do if this happened?

I keep thorough records. They couldn't get away with it with me.

See if they have a facebook page and post a negative comment/review. That will get their attention

I like your idea, but thankfully my current phone company already does that for me, and I use my bank's debit card to pay the bill-- makes it harder to dispute.

I doubt this particular store has a FB page, but I do know the parent company is in Colorado (at least I think it is).

You happen to have a Great Dane or two? I'd sure like to go after them for messing with me (I'm just joking, but it'd be nice to teach businesses to never try and fool a deaf person)

Marty is a mini poodle mix , but he will bark at people he feel can't be trusted. I was going walking him on our street once and Marty started to bark at a woman in a warning way. He will bark at her anytime he see her.
There is something he just does not like about her.

Ask how long have you been in business. Well, you weren't here for very long and I don't see you sticking here for very long.

Heck, make a scene. Other people will see that store has an angry customer and wouldn't want to set their feet into store. One angry customer can ruin it for everyone. Any smart businesses will know that. They will make sure to correct any flaws so that no one spread negative information about store.

Oh, I'll be around. This store has been around here longer than I've been here-- 16 years, and prior to my encounter with their dirty ways, I have no idea what they've been up to-- I'm only speaking of my experience.

It may not be the store, but rather the sales associate you dealt with. I just hope that not every sales associate at that particular place are dirty.

Sadly, they are. A person who used to work there (now co-owns his own store) said so, and he said he'd never go back. The way he put it, it sounds like he got fed up with their practices, and wanted to make an honest living. That's why they're on my blocked lists on my VP contacts.
