what would you do if you were me?

I've given it a couple of days after I turned him in, and nothing has happened so far. What should I do now? Take it a step farther or wait and see what happens?

Just wait since it would take long to find out from the legal dept or upper management to make a decision....
 
No, it really wouldn't. MCI does not put off firing people, even for attendance.
