I doubt it... I am sorry... Dlink VP has nothing to do with the time limit. I suspect time limit is controlled by your HSI provider. Let's hear from the other Dlink users on whether or not the time limit is enforced.

HSI mean High speed internet ?

IloveVP said:
That is correct...

I m sure not caused HSI provider... ITs build firmware new version by itself add 2 hrs limite communicate to communicate! :=/

Other provider VOIP has limite 3 hrs via talk VOIP (phone digital) in somewhere!!

Why Why CSDVRS didnt fix by own program firmware !!! I think it should now !! for better confortable view and lots option!
I like that CSDvrs because they accept service call to usa from canada WOW cool~!
I can fix firmware myself but i dont have E-jtag!

There is no two hour limit on calls.

CSDVRS doesn't control the firmware -- D-Link does and there have been no updates for a while.

What is an E-jtag?!

Hey Xentra,

I'm from Ontario, Canada

Only I bought DLINK ROUTER AND DLINK I2EYE. Which it's cool and still good stand viewing beautiful clearly...

I wish I could same soreson VRS.. but canada doesn't have..

By the way CAD/OAD are ongoing battle and to try convience them use VRS as condiser BRS..

I have no idea or heard about CSDVRS ? I would love to know what url or address ip..
*curiouis*
So far I'm using vp for 1 1/2 months old.. Love it.

I think it should CSDVRS fix firmware that they provide free dvc 1000!

E-Jtag JTAG standard after the Joint Test Action Group
For in-system flash programming firmware from TSOP & EEprom chipset in board vp!

Please use poll on( Linksys router it does will work with videophone?)
not here because i had mistake.
Sorry for the delay!

CSDVRS does not have its own engineering dept. Probably no money to pay Dlink engineers.

CSD does have an engineering department. D-Link is not allowed to customize i2eye's because of their contract with Sorenson. I have email proof of this when talking to D-Link's sales people.

Sorenson did not develop the i2eye. D-Link and Sorenson created the DVC-1000 in partnership and Sorenson holds certain rights with how D-Link can customize the D-Link for the deaf market. That means that Sorenson has a monopoly on the deaf market, you can only accept what they will allow D-Link to upgrade or add to their i2eye for hearing people.

Dennis,

Does CSD or another VRS's R&D have to wait after five years of Sorenson's patient rights then to update or customize the VP or router/switch?

IloveVP said:
Additonal feature to those above, is the MISSED CALLS. If any caller call you ( Sorenson VP-100 user) and you did not answer it, then the caller's name and VP-100 number or IP address will be left in the MISSED CALLS listing. That way, you will know who called you .

Which one Sorenson VP-100 or D-Link DVC-1000 have
this feature for MISSED CALLS listing ???

Who will provide VRS service for Canadians ?

It's not a patent issue. It's an agreement between D-Link and Sorenson issue. Sorenson has a lock on the deaf community -- D-Link's agreement is that they won't customize the i2eye for the deaf community, no matter what. In exchange, Sorenson won't compete in the hearing market.
