What Pat Robertson had to say about the Middle East crisis .....

I'd rather wipe my butt with it. Anything Pat Robertson has to say, is meaningless to me. He listens to too many of the many voices in his head.

Nobody should take that guy seriously.

Well, you should because this is what Pat Robertson and his prayer team said and notice how Biblical Prophecy is coming true with regards to Damascus.

Hardly had this taken place, when a noted terrorist named Imad Fayez Mugniyah advised the radical Hezbollah in Lebanon to invade northern Israel for the purpose of killing or capturing Israeli soldiers.

With this provocation, Israel launched attacks on Hezbollah strongholds in southern Lebanon and Beirut. Hezbollah then retaliated with highly sophisticated long-range rockets that rained down on Israel, reaching as far as Haifa and Tiberius.

Now we learn that Iran has supplied Hezbollah with long-range rockets capable of holding chemical and biological warheads.

Our CBN News team learned that the radical president of Iran sent the following word to the king of Saudi Arabia: If the Israelis breach the gates of Damascus, it would signal the destruction of Israel.

The 38th chapter of the book of Ezekiel talks about an invasion of Israel in the latter days by forces from Iran, Russia, Libya, and the Sudan. Could we be on the verge of this united invasion of Israel -- a land whose people have been gathered back from the nations in the latter days?

I was born again christian during Prez Bush I term and Ive heard all of the biblical prophecy stuff at the time of Gulf War I. Israel was gonna sign the peace accords with other ME and the the church in Jerulsalem was being rebuilt --that is the sign of www III and Jesus coming among other things. I don't remember all the stuff now cuz it was long time ago. Now it is more than a decade and its 2006 now. *sigh* Here we go again....

Btw, Im agostic now. :)

I'm still very strong born again believer, but I'm cautious about the way or I say depend who teaches. Yes, I learned about desert storm, but as it says it not always mean the end time, but as the prgress as we see in middle east, have to becareful how they interpretate. There are many ways how pat robertson taught that I don't agree and feel by my Spirit to cautious me, in particualr issues. Yes, end time is coming, but the time like this in mid east could or may not be it or as a start? Rather, slow down and wait. Yes, it has to be obvious if organize with like far eastern countries, russians, syrians and etc to attack israel, it will be starting. But like this, rather, wait any further of this and yes, still cautious of how they use.

Pat Robertson has made enough nonsense statements for me to never put stock in anything he says. He is a businessman first and foremost, occassionally attempting to play the political game in which no one, not even fringe right wingers, will take him seriously. If you believe he is a man of God, you are gravely mistaken.

As for your statement of Israel's provocation, depending on your source, these soldiers were captured, not kidnapped , in Palestinian territory. If you believe this modern day nation-state is the same prophesied entity referred to in the Bible, then God must be on the wrong side. Below is an account of a local peaceworker whom is currently Israel protesting the excessive force being used against Hezbollah.

JAILED IN JERUSALEM

Today I went to a demonstration at the U.S. consulate office in Jerusalem. The police showed up out of nowhere and began arresting a Palestinian. I tried to de-arrest him but I did not have enough help. Two Scotish friends of mine assisted as well however the Police began beating us all prefusely. This police attack was broadcast all over Al-Jazeera, but I don't think any news in the US felt it was worthy.

We were taken to a police van where they continued beating us.
They sprayed pepper spray in the Palestinian's face and began kicking us. I was kicked in the groin, legs, chest, back and head. A few seconds later a policeman hit me in the face with a large paperback book. The officer in the back of the van then grabbed
me by the hair and forced me to lay face first on his shoe. He pressed his finger into my ear so that I could not move my head. My Scottish friends were also treated the same. They continued beating the Palestinian all the way to the police station. All
four of us were arrested but they had not informed us of this properly.

At the police station we were forced to sit on our knees facing the sun for nearly an hour. Every so often an officer would come by and throw us face first on the pavement. I guess kicking people in handcuffs makes one feel macho? After an hour they took us
inside for interrogation and strip searched us in the lobby of the police station in front of alot of excited onlookers. They took the Palestinian into another room and we could hear him screaming. No
telling what they did to him. One of the officers then said, "Welcome to jail. You don't need any of your personal belongings. Just some Vasoline." The officers then cuffed us Gitmo style. Hands and feet in
shackels. An hour later my interrogator informed me that I was charged with participating in an unlawful demonstration and
assaulting a police officer. I did not give them my name or my passport number since I conveniently left it in my hostel. I then stated that I denied all charges against me and I wanted to speak with my lawyer. I asked the officer for my cell phone to contact the media office, but when he brought it to me I could tell that they had broken it. He smiled and said that he would call me a nice public defender. I refused the offer and decided to face the charges
myself, because I knew that they had nothing on me.

The officer took my statement and wrote it up in Hebrew. I then informed him that I would not sign anything in Hebrew and that I only knew English or Spanish. After a few hours of playing good cop - bad cop they decided that I actually had a stronger case
against them and that they would have to let me go.

All of us were released and the Palestinian, Qusay, took us to his house to eat dinner with his family.

Qusay is an international business major in Iceland. He just returned home to Jerusalem yesterday and he will be here for one month. Qusay's mother is active in many of the demonstrations I have been to in the past and today Qusay decided to accompany her to protest the US support for the war on Lebanon. In a
few weeks his younger brother will be released from prison. His brother was arrested when he was 16 and is now 20. The best four years of his life have been in prison. Qusay's older brother is 28 and has been in jail for 7 years. My day might have been bad, but I cannot imagine what it would have been like if I was Qusay or any Palestinian.

Judge for yourself.

A LETTER FROM PAT ROBERTSON

Just read this and you will go whoa !!!!! :D

Heath, we've been over this many, many times. Every single "oh no" event that has ever happened is cited as "the coming of end times." There's nothing different about this one, or ANY OTHER EVENT THAT WILL EVER HAPPEN THAT SIGNALS THE END TIMES. Only until the rapture actually happens will there be any signal. So cut it out until many, many people disappear unexplicably.

I remember the good ole days when the Millenium was supposed to be the end of the world. Now that was an Apocalypse!

LOL.....Thanks Dennis!!!!! I actually read a tract that said that the end of the world isn't literal, but it's a metaphor for the changing of an old world into a new world. Perhaps this might mean that a Christian Idenity world is in the death throes, never ever to be repeated or to exist again whereas a more libal and loving world is in the beginning stages.
Heath, do you not remmy The Late Great Planet Earth by Hal Lindin? Do you not remmy the end of the world stuff when the milliuman changed?
