now, this you tube video is really good, it kind of makes you think about the subtle racism, i like it, as it shows how white people don't really think about where they 'come from' like they don't think of their ancestry/culture is 'exotic' enough, which hides the 'racists undertones'....

hmmm, it surely got me thinking... not 'I'd be careful crap' its more "I'd have to be prepared to go the full mile to exchange as we're (white) not that 'ordinary enough' to consider other people are 'different' exotic or lesser, we (whites) too had weird culture, weird habits just so it has been ignored, heck asians people have ignored there own too, and its not 'because they want to adopt so called 'western thing/culture' its just more to do with modernism then 'western world' nonsense....

talk about honesty!!

the actors talk about it afterwards (or before they made the video)

All I know is that I'd like to be the "love you long time" kind of Asian. :P

I don't think it's offensive if you want to know where people are from.
Obviously, the lady IS Asian even if she was born in America,
and Asians come from different countries, not just one.
What is wrong with wanting to know if she is Chinese, Korean, or whatever?
some people like to guess if their knowledge based on facial features is right.
I like to do that - I like to guess where pple come from based on how there look.

But I'd rather ask "may I ask what your ethnicity is? you are so beautiful... "
