Hmmm...interesting. I only invited a few (4 or 5) to Thanksgiving Dinner. We need a quiet and enjoyable Thanksgiving holidays and they agree. The last time, my kids' dad invited some of his buddies, "BOOOOM!" :jaw: and spoiled the holiday. One acted weird. One acted stupid. And others are just wrong and wrong even I didn't feel comfortable w/them. So I told him his buddies are NOT invited
tho they're from Mexico and use MSL (Mexican Sign Language), I don't want them in my home in front of my kids, period. So he only will bring his friends whom I approved. Nice fellas. But the others were NOT. Phhhfft! So I only invited friends who I trust and known for years (my college and my high school).
Now I'm gonna bake the whole things up and cook 'em up before the Turkey baking. Stuffing, Corn bread, pumpkin pies, cheesecake pies, pumpkin bread, fry bread (American Native way), etc....
Yummmmy!!!!! Turkey goes in the oven tomorrow morning.
Happy Thanksgiving Holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we changed plans and will be spending Thanksgiving with my husband's parents who live only about 30 minutes away. Perhaps next year with my mother, then!
