What are you thinking about Part VII

We have a great view of the moon. Been watching the eclipse through our binoculars. Seeing spots now.

You can't put in a basement when the water table is only a foot below ground. Houses are either built on slabs or crawl spaces or elevated, such as at the beach.

I don't think there are many basements here in NC or at least in the area I am in. None of the houses here have them and they were all built between 1998-2002 I think.

Tried to see the moon here but looked like mostly cloudy (didn't go outside though- usually you can see the moon from the little "office" room.
 
Old loo then or larder..
I watch moon from 3am I kept awake all night so not miss it...unfortunately my side of England not so good..Place called Glastonbury in uk and Las vagus best view in world.
 
Although I would though that new mistake not possible America could see it same time as me

My grandson was especially disappointed. He had his telescope ready but no moon. This happens almost every time there's an interesting sky event.

What a bummer ! :( We lucked out this time and had a beautiful blue clear sky all day and it that stay all night too. I don't think I will be around
for the next one.
 
I don't understand why parts of uk saw blood red Moon I saw something different a bigger moon very yellow it did not take all the horizon as it did south England.I live on most easily part uk yet most West saw it differently and not clouds.

My thoughts random thinking about birds who blown off course end up in Cornwall little yanki birds either stupid little yanki birds or clever and strong.Some settled here ,hard to say if wise doing that hope don't bring habits other yanki like grey squirrel How random is that for thought process

Was kidding about becoming a loan shark....Learned my lesson about loaning a large amount of $$ too...Took 1 ex-landlord to court and he was ordered to pay me back $1,200...never did...called the Court, and by Florida Law, the only way I could recoup it if he would not pay it willingly was to slap a lien on his property or vehicle....:roll:...Another case was involving a family member whom I sold some property too...

Small loans?...With the "promise" to pay back the next day?...:giggle:...and they needed it badly?...and having to run them down for it?...pisses me off...might as well write it off....Just embarrass them whenever I see them, saying..."by the way you still owe me $$"....
 
Yeah RR what would do with all those legs and arms if you were a loan shark ? :giggle:

:laugh2: Have you ever seen the movie? I was referring to the fact that it is extremely violent, but very funny! Lots of people didn't like the movie for the violence, lots of lost life!

Lol personally I hated that movie. It's based in North Dakota and Minnesota, and the way they talked was a terrible representation of us. But the whole wood chipper thing ...... Perfect for RR's new loan shark business. :lol:

I agree, the loan shark business.

Know what you mean about portraying local accents, they do that to Mainers too. WE DON'T ALL HAVE THAT ACCENT! :lol:

My house cat house always had cats only good people are cat people. .my darling cats died last year both over 20 not ready to replace them yet..This longest I gone without animal

I thought I would never be ready for another pet, and my daughter took that decision out of my hands by giving me the kitten.

It really does help us all feel much better.
 
We caught a huge skunk last night in the trap. My husband figured out that the trap was defective and that is why the bait has been taken and not setting off the trap. After finally catching one, I felt really bad....they are so cute. I don't know how many skunks have been stealing our bait.....run away skunks the trap works.
 
I can symphysis with migraine.migraine I have 2 or3 a month to me worse than being deaf blind unable to walk.as soon as that attack starts you finish 24 hours pain and puking .little tip get tonic water and ginger beer plus some cheapest penny sweets drink glass and ear sweets..all comes down to timing it right.drink ginger beer before sickness drink tonic over ten hours time period last.good science reason it works don't take parencemtol tyolin buy some coding lincus use 5mls with aspirin or nurofen do every 4 hours.the coding will make aspirin work better don't use again unless after twenty hours you still have it Dark room and alpine lavender it has be alpine.all this advice from migraine foundation
