Weird Knockoffs

Everything on this site: DealExtreme: Cool Gadgets at the Right Price - Worldwide Free Shipping - DX is a knockoff of something or other. But damn, cheap prices. I've ordered a lot of stuff from them over the years and have usually been happy (but not always).

Look at all of the knockoffs of the Ugg boots in all of the stores.
Now I am seeing knockoffs of the MukLuks.
I have real Crocs, but my mom has the Walmart knockoffs, she says there is a difference. Mine are more comfortable.
My daughter wants all these famous brands but what she doesn't know is a lot of the time I purchase her clothes at Walmart or JC Penneys and they look just as good as the name brand.
I remember in high school all the well-to-do kids were wearing Abercrombie&Fitch, McAlister's, Adidas, Nike, etc. But I had to wear brands like Jordache, No Boundaries, Faded Glory, Airwalk (after it became a Payless brand), and I got compliments on my clothes and people asked where I bought them. I usually told them "In the mall." What they didn't know was I paid $14.95 for my jeans while they paid $40-60 for theirs.
Sometimes the knockoffs look better than the original.
