Weening off a pacifier

my daughter will be 1 on the 20th...I just took the bottle and pacifier away gave her a sipppy cup instead...and my older never took pacifier....hmm I would agree with making it her responsibility, or have her replace it with a big girl item..
 
We bought a hellliumm balloon and tied the pacifier and sent them to heaven for all the sad babies.

I know this look very cute, innocent and at times - helpful,
but the reality is releasing the balloons -
any balloons- is very harmful to the environment:

I hate when people do that ! People will let balloons filled with helium go into the air for child that dies young and it so harmful for the environment. Some
environmental groups are trying to have a ban on this.
 
OMG pacifiers are a danger to our environment! Pls BAN them!
