Childhood Memories

1. Colors... What was you favorite color when you were little? What color was your room? Was your hair a different color?

When I was little, my favourite colour was pink, then i outgrew that and it changed to purple in my preteen years, then after that it changed to blue til now, but i am starting to like red and the 70's colour.. My room was pink my whole life, and now is blank cuz waiting to repaint it again. My hair was a golden brown when i was little and now is dark brown.

2. Toys... What were your favorite toys when you were young? What toy did you want to get more than anything else?

I loved dolls and teddies bears. I love to collect them and use them as people for playing house or school hehe.

3. Pets... Did you have any pets when you were little? If so, what was your first?

I had many pets while growing up, but the very first one was Duchess whom is an irish setter and was already 6 yrs old when I was born. SHe died when she was 18 and i was 12.

4. Holidays... What holiday did you look forward to as a child? What did you do to celebrate?

I always look forward to christmas and birthday as a child. For christmas we will do the usual christmas morning ritual then later that day we go to grampa for christmas dinner every year and still do now. We will exchange mroe gifts at grampa. For birthdays, my gramma and grampa will come down and visit me and will have birthday cake and birthday dinner (we get to pick what we want for birthday dinner) and then exchange gifts after cake.

5. Food... Were you a picky eater when you were a kid? What were your favorite foods? Do you still like those foods today?

I was not really an picky eater when i was a kid, I ate alot of vegetable and liked it too. I abosoulity LOVED cheese and ham when i was little. Now i cant stand ham anymore, but still love cheese.

1. Colors... What was you favorite color when you were little? What color was your room? Was your hair a different color?

My favorite color was blue. My room was plain ole white. Natural or dyed? My natural color has always been brown. I used to have curlier hair, when I was younger, but not anymore. I have dyed my hair blue, red, purple, bleached blonde, green, black, and even pink on accident once.

2. Toys... What were your favorite toys when you were young? What toy did you want to get more than anything else?

My favorite toys hands down were my action figures. I had an assorted collection of Power Ranger, Ninja Turtle, Ghost Buster, Johnny Quest, etc action figures that I would play with from day in to day out. The toy I wanted more than anything else were the Power Rangers Zord toys. I only had a couple.

3. Pets... Did you have any pets when you were little? If so, what was your first?

Yes, I had several pets. My first I can remember was a little Schouzer (sp?) named Kelly. Then we got a Toy Poodle named Molly. I had several parakeets named Buster. I'm wanting to get a new parakeet just for company, now.

4. Holidays... What holiday did you look forward to as a child? What did you do to celebrate?

I always looked forward to Christmas the most. Who didn't? We celebrated like any normal family. Wake up open presents, eat nice dinner, spend the rest of the day playing with new goodies. I also enjoyed Halloween just for seasonal memories. I stopped trick-or-treating early, but I always enjoyed Halloween just for the heck of it.

5. Food... Were you a picky eater when you were a kid? What were your favorite foods? Do you still like those foods today?

Picky eater? You bet! Still am, in fact. My absolute favorite food was french fries. I don't know why. Especially seasoned fries from Checker's. Do I still like fries? Sure. Who doesn't?

Purple....it still is....I can't remember what color my first bedroom was, but my second bedroom was yellow, and now it's old book parchment. My hair was plutoium blonde when I was little....it's now brown....bleh!

2. Toys... What were your favorite toys when you were young? What toy did you want to get more than anything else?

I liked toys that encouraged imaginary play.....I loved playing villiage in my grandparent's basement, and Winnabago with my brother in our parent's caravan. I wanted one of those powerwheel toys

3. Pets... Did you have any pets when you were little? If so, what was your first?

Yes....house has always been FILLED with cats....my first was Chocolate Boy whom my parents named to help me get the concept of boys and girls straight....when my brother was born I kept calling him a girl!

4. Holidays... What holiday did you look forward to as a child? What did you do to celebrate?

Thanksgiving....we would have GIANT multiday parties with friends and familiy

5. Food... Were you a picky eater when you were a kid? What were your favorite foods? Do you still like those foods today?

I wasn't too picky......I liked sugar snap peas, fried chicken and virtually everything!

1. Colors... What was you favorite color when you were little? What color was your room? Was your hair a different color?
I have to admit, when I was a youn'un, my favourite color was pink because of the Pink Power Ranger. Even painted my bathroom bubble-gum pink as my vent of obsession. My room in childhood was always white. (I painted it blood-red two years ago and it was such a relief to get away from starky white!) My hair was different from today-- it was platinum (natural) blonde.

2. Toys... What were your favorite toys when you were young? What toy did you want to get more than anything else?
I cannot recollect which toys were my favourite but I did play with Barbie often since girlfriends own them so I brought my Barbie to play with them. What toy I want more than anything else??? Hm. I used to yearn for a princess hennin (pointy-hat) since age 5 when I saw them at Disneyland and my mother promised to make me one... she never did. To-day she still asked me, "Do you want one now??" I said: "YES! for the sake of KEEPING a promise! It is the principie I want! You want me to wear dresses etc but you refrained the princess hat from me-- and now you got a tomboy daugther because I never get the best girly-thing so it is all your fault, Mom!" She always laughed and replied: "MAYBE for your twentith-birthday!!!! MAYBE that day will COME when you get your princess hat!"


3. Pets... Did you have any pets when you were little? If so, what was your first?
I had a lot, lot of goldfish. I cat-sat a lot of cats (approximately 8 cats) that you could say they were mine. I hamster-sat and ended up owning a fat hamster... I dog-sat one dog for three months but never own any. I did owe several paraketts: three in succession... and all that were before I was 13 years old. Thank goodness I didn't have ALL of them at once.

4. Holidays... What holiday did you look forward to as a child? What did you do to celebrate?
I don't know-- I guess my birthday since it means Christmas is only a week away from my birthday so I am more exiciting about the month of December: my birthday PLUS christmas EQUALS zillions of gifts!

5. Food... Were you a picky eater when you were a kid? What were your favorite foods? Do you still like those foods today?
I was the picky champion. I do remember that I used to eat shrimp (RAW) when I was young-- now I cannot stand them. I love the taste but the FACT it got eyes, legs, spine just creeped me out. I don't eat the same food I used to because I am a vegetarian now. Things I hated when I was young, now I can bear them or eat them on a regular basis e.g. black beans, salads, mushrooms (this is the big change)... What I don't eat anymore from my childhood: CANDIES. I cannot eat cotton candy or any processed crap. They are too sugar-y for me; however I still dwell on tradtional candies like ice cream and chocolate bars.
